Proper helmet fit is crucial for safety and comfort. Follow these steps to ensure your PROTONE helmet is correctly adjusted:

  1. Choose the Correct Size: Refer to the size chart below to select the appropriate helmet size based on your head circumference.

    Brand SizeHead Circumference (in)
    Small19.7 - 22.1
    Medium20.5 - 22.9

  2. Position the Helmet: Place the helmet squarely on your head, ensuring it covers your forehead. It should not be tilted back or forward.
  3. Adjust the Octo Fit System: Use the dial at the back of the helmet to tighten or loosen the retention system until the helmet feels snug and secure without being uncomfortably tight. The helmet should not move excessively when you shake your head.
  4. Adjust the Chin Strap: Fasten the buckle under your chin. Adjust the straps so that they form a "V" shape under your ears and the buckle is centered under your chin. The strap should be tight enough so that you can only fit one or two fingers between the strap and your chin.
  5. Final Check: With the straps fastened, try to move the helmet from side to side and front to back. It should feel secure and not shift significantly.
