3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your VATOS Football Game Set:

3.1. Unpacking

1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Inspect all parts for any damage. If any parts are damaged or missing, please contact customer support.

3.2. Setting Up the Soccer Game Target

The game target can be set up for both indoor and outdoor play.

Indoor Setup (using Sticky Hooks)

1. Choose a flat, clear wall surface free from obstructions.
2. Clean the chosen wall surface thoroughly to ensure optimal adhesion of the sticky hooks.
3. Attach the four sticky hooks to the top corners of the soccer game target.
4. Carefully press the sticky hooks onto the wall at the desired height, ensuring the target hangs securely.
5. Ensure the target is stable and will not fall during play.

Outdoor Setup (using Ground Stakes and Ribbons)

1. Select a flat, open area in your yard or garden.
2. Unfold the soccer game target.
3. Thread the ribbons through the loops on the top corners of the target.
4. Secure the ground stakes into the ground at an appropriate distance to hold the target upright and taut.
5. Tie the ribbons to the ground stakes, adjusting tension to keep the target stable.
6. Ensure the target is firmly anchored and will not tip over during play.

4. Operating Instructions

The VATOS Football Game Set is designed for a fun and interactive sticky soccer experience.

4.1. How to Play

1. Place the soccer game target in your chosen indoor or outdoor location, following the setup instructions.
2. Position yourself a suitable distance from the target. The distance can be adjusted based on player age and skill level.
3. Kick or throw the velcro soccer balls towards the target.
4. Aim for the different scoring zones on the target. Each zone is marked with a specific point value.
5. The velcro on the balls will stick to the flannelette fabric of the target, indicating where the ball landed and the points scored.
6. Players can take turns and keep score to compete for the highest total.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

• Soccer Game Target: The target is made of high-quality flannelette. It can be gently wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Allow it to air dry completely before storage. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
• Velcro Soccer Balls: The balls are made of soft cotton and are washable. Hand wash with mild soap and water, then air dry. Ensure the velcro is clean and free of debris for optimal sticking performance.

6. Troubleshooting

• Issue: Balls are not sticking well to the target.
  Solution: Ensure both the velcro on the balls and the flannelette surface of the target are clean and free from dust, lint, or debris. Gently clean them as described in the Maintenance section.
• Issue: The target is unstable or keeps falling over.
  Solution (Indoor): Re-apply the sticky hooks to a clean, dry, and smooth wall surface. Ensure they are pressed firmly. Consider using additional adhesive if needed (not included).
  Solution (Outdoor): Ensure the ground stakes are fully inserted into firm ground. Adjust the tension of the ribbons to provide maximum stability. Avoid playing in strong winds.
• Issue: Components are damaged.
