Setup

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the sharpener and any accessories from the packaging.
  2. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the sharpener. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port located at the bottom of the unit. Use a 5V 2A adapter (not included) for optimal charging. A full charge typically takes 2 hours and provides power for approximately 600 sharpenings.
  3. Placement: Place the sharpener on a stable, flat surface.

Operating Instructions

  1. Select Sharpness: Locate the sharpness adjustment slider on the front of the sharpener. Slide it to select your desired tip:
    • Sharp: For fine lines and detailed work.
    • Medium: A balanced tip for general use.
    • Blunt: A thick tip ideal for shading or for younger users who are hard on pencils.

    Note: For soft core pencils, it is recommended to use the medium or blunt tip setting to prevent tip breakage.

  2. Insert Pencil: Gently insert the pencil into the sharpening hole at the top of the unit. The sharpener will automatically grip the pencil and pull it in.
  3. Automatic Sharpening: The sharpener will begin sharpening automatically. There is no need to hold or apply pressure to the pencil.
  4. Automatic Ejection: Once the pencil reaches the selected sharpness, the sharpener will automatically eject it. Remove the sharpened pencil.

Maintenance

  • Emptying Shavings: To empty the shavings, gently twist and lift the top cover of the sharpener. Dispose of the pencil shavings. Reattach the cover securely until it clicks into place. The sharpener will not operate if the cover is not properly closed, ensuring safety.
  • Blade Replacement: The blade is replaceable. If sharpening performance decreases, a new blade may be needed. The ASIN for replacement blades is B0CJ8YYSV5. Refer to the specific instructions provided with the replacement blade for installation.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the sharpener with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Pencil not sharpening or uneven tip. Pencil core is off-center or blade is dull. Check if the pencil core is centered. If not, try a different pencil. If the issue persists, consider replacing the blade (ASIN: B0CJ8YYSV5).
Sharpener does not turn on. Low battery or cover not properly closed. Charge the sharpener using the provided USB-C cable. Ensure the top cover is securely closed.
Pencil tip breaks frequently. Using a soft core pencil with a sharp setting. Switch the sharpness setting to medium or blunt for soft core pencils.
