4. Setup and Installation
Before installation, ensure your desk is sturdy enough to support the weight of the monitor arm and your monitors. Choose either the desk clamp or grommet mount method.
4.1 Desk Clamp Installation
- Attach the desk clamp base to the main pole of the monitor arm. Secure it with the provided screws.
- Position the clamp on the edge of your desk. Ensure the desk thickness is within the clamp's range.
- Tighten the clamp screw until the arm is securely fastened to the desk. Do not overtighten.
- Slide the monitor arms onto the main pole. Adjust the height as desired and secure with the locking mechanism.

4.2 Grommet Mount Installation
- If your desk has a grommet hole, remove the existing grommet cover.
- Attach the grommet mount base to the main pole of the monitor arm.
- Insert the pole through the grommet hole.
- From underneath the desk, secure the grommet mount with the provided plate and wing nut. Tighten until stable.
- Slide the monitor arms onto the main pole. Adjust the height as desired and secure with the locking mechanism.
4.3 Attaching Monitors
- Attach the VESA mounting plates to the back of your monitors using the appropriate screws from the hardware kit. Ensure the screws are tightened securely but do not overtighten.
- Carefully slide the monitors (with VESA plates attached) onto the VESA head of each arm.
- Secure the monitors to the VESA head using the quick-release or locking mechanism, if present, or by tightening the designated screws.

5. Operating and Adjustments
The SPEAKA PROFESSIONAL monitor arm offers extensive adjustability for optimal viewing and ergonomics.
5.1 Height Adjustment
To adjust the height of the monitor arms along the main pole, loosen the locking collar, move the arm to the desired height, and then re-tighten the collar securely.
5.2 Tilt Adjustment
The VESA head allows for tilting your monitor up or down. Loosen the tilt knob/screw on the VESA head, adjust the monitor to your preferred angle, and then tighten the knob/screw to secure it.
5.3 Swivel Adjustment
Each arm can swivel horizontally at various pivot points. Gently push or pull the monitor to swivel it left or right to achieve the desired viewing angle.

5.4 Rotation (Portrait/Landscape)
The VESA plate allows for 360° rotation, enabling you to switch your monitor between portrait and landscape orientations. Simply rotate the monitor to the desired orientation.
5.5 Cable Management
Utilize the integrated cable management clips or channels on the arms to route your monitor cables neatly. This helps maintain a clean and organized workspace.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the monitor arm with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
- Periodic Checks: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure. Re-tighten if necessary.
