1. Product Overview
The Peakeep Battery Operated Digital Alarm Clock (Model MHP6010) is a cordless alarm clock designed for ease of use and portability. 2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
This clock operates on 4 AA batteries (not included). For optimal performance and battery life, qualified alkaline batteries from a major brand are recommended. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2.2 Initial Time Setting
Upon battery installation, the clock display will activate. Follow these steps to set the current time:
- Press and hold the TIME SET button for 2 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will begin to flash.
- Use the + or - buttons to adjust the hour. Pay attention to the AM/PM indicator.
- Press the TIME SET button again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the + or - buttons to adjust the minutes.
- Press the TIME SET button once more to save the time and exit setting mode.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Setting the Alarm
- Press and hold the ALARM SET button for 2 seconds. The alarm hour digits will flash.
- Use the + or - buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press the ALARM SET button again to confirm the alarm hour and move to minute setting. The alarm minute digits will flash.
- Use the + or - buttons to set the desired alarm minutes.
- Press the ALARM SET button once more to save the alarm time.
3.2 Activating/Deactivating Alarm
After setting the alarm, press the AL.ON/OFF button to toggle the alarm on or off. An alarm icon will appear on the display when the alarm is active.
3.3 Adjusting Alarm Volume
The clock offers 5 levels of alarm volume control. To adjust the volume:
- Press the AL.VOL button. The current volume level (U01-U05) will be displayed.
- Use the + or - buttons to cycle through the 5 volume levels (U01 being lowest, U05 being loudest).
- The setting will automatically save after a few seconds of inactivity or by pressing AL.VOL again.

3.4 Display Brightness Control
The clock features 3 brightness settings (L03, L02, L01) and an 'OFF' mode for a completely dark display.
- Press the DIMMER button repeatedly to cycle through the brightness levels: L03 (brightest) > L02 > L01 (dimmest) > OFF.
- Select the desired brightness level for your environment.

3.5 Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, gently tap the large SNOOZE button located on the top of the clock. This will pause the alarm for 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period. To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button on the back of the clock.

3.6 12/24 Hour Format
To switch between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour (military time) formats, press the 12/24HR button on the back of the clock.
3.7 Daylight Saving Time (DST)
To manually adjust for Daylight Saving Time:
- Press the DST ON/OFF button.
- The clock will adjust forward or backward by one hour.
3.8 Optional Voice-Activated Mode
The voice-activated mode is designed to conserve battery life. When activated, the display will dim to 'OFF' if no sound is detected within 30 seconds. It will reactivate and display the time at brightness level L01 once sound is detected (e.g., a clap or voice).
- To toggle the voice-activated mode, press the ON/OFF button located next to the 'VOICE-ACTIVATED' label on the back of the clock.
- When voice-activated mode is off, the display will remain continuously on at the selected brightness level.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the display or casing.
4.2 Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 2.1. Always replace all 4 AA batteries at the same time with new, qualified alkaline batteries.
5. Troubleshooting
