3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for safe and proper installation of your BLNAN LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light. Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before beginning.

3.1 Tools Required (Not Included)

3.2 Installation Steps

1. Prepare the Fixture: Rotate the light fixture counter-clockwise to remove the plastic mounting bracket from the main body of the light.

2. Attach Mounting Bracket: Align the holes on the plastic mounting bracket with the screw holes on your existing junction box (compatible with 2.75" - 3.7" apart screw holes). Secure the bracket to the junction box using the provided screws.
3. Connect Wiring:
   • Use the integrated hanging rope on the light fixture to temporarily suspend it from the mounting bracket. This allows for hands-free wiring.
   • Connect the wires from the light fixture to the corresponding wires from your junction box using the provided wire nuts:
     • Black wire (Live) to Black wire (Live)
     • White wire (Neutral) to White wire (Neutral)
     • Green/Bare copper wire (Ground) to Green/Bare copper wire (Ground)
   • Ensure all connections are secure.

4. Select Color Temperature: Before mounting the light, locate the small toggle switch on the side of the light fixture. This switch allows you to select your desired color temperature: 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Neutral White), or 5000K (Cold White). Set the switch to your preferred setting.

5. Mount the Light Fixture: Carefully push the wired light fixture up towards the mounting bracket, aligning the grooves. Rotate the light fixture clockwise until it clicks securely into place on the bracket.
6. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker. Test the light fixture.

Important Note: This light fixture is non-dimmable and not suitable for use with dimmer switches or wall switches that control dimming functions. The color temperature selection is made via the toggle switch on the fixture itself, not through external controls.
