3. Ventilation System

The helmet features adjustable vents for airflow. Locate the top and chin vents and slide them open or closed to control ventilation. Ensure vents are clear of obstructions for optimal performance.

4. Chin Strap (Ratchet Closure)

To fasten the chin strap, insert the male end of the ratchet into the female buckle until it clicks securely. Adjust the strap length for a snug fit under your chin. To release, pull the red tab on the female buckle. Always ensure the chin strap is securely fastened before riding.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Helmet Shell

Clean the helmet shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or petroleum-based products, as these can damage the shell material and finish. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft, clean cloth.

2. Cleaning the Visors

Remove the main clear visor and inner sun visor before cleaning. Use only warm water and a soft microfiber cloth. For stubborn dirt, a very mild soap solution can be used. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasive materials, as they can scratch or damage the visor coatings.

3. Liner Removal and Cleaning

The helmet's interior comfort liner is removable for cleaning. Gently detach the liner components (cheek pads, crown liner) according to the instructions in the included leaflet. Hand wash with mild soap and cool water, then air dry completely before re-installing. Ensure all components are dry to prevent mildew.

4. Storage

Store your helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided helmet bag to protect it from dust and scratches. Do not store the helmet near chemicals or solvents.

Troubleshooting

  • Visor Fogging: Ensure proper ventilation by opening vents. Consider using an anti-fog insert (Pinlock compatible, if applicable) or anti-fog spray.
  • Loose Fit: If the helmet feels loose after initial use, re-check your head circumference against the size guide. Ensure the chin strap is adjusted snugly. If still loose, the helmet size may be incorrect.
  • Stiff Modular Mechanism: Apply a small amount of silicone spray to the pivot points of the chin bar mechanism if it becomes stiff. Avoid oil-based lubricants.
  • Visor Scratches: Always handle visors with care. Clean only with soft cloths and appropriate cleaners. Store the helmet in its bag to prevent scratches. Replacement visors are available from authorized dealers.
