Setup

1. Unboxing and Initial Placement

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the self-empty dock on a hard, flat surface against a wall, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1.5 meters (5 feet) in front and 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) on either side to allow the robot to dock properly.

2. Charging the Robot

Ensure the robot is correctly placed on the charging contacts of the dock. The indicator lights on the robot will confirm it is charging. Allow the robot to fully charge before its first use.

3. Filling Water Tanks and Installing Dust Bag

Fill the clean water tank with appropriate cleaning solution and water. Ensure the dirty water tank is empty. Install the dust bag into the self-empty dock. The dock is designed for no-touch dust emptying for up to 60 days, depending on usage.

4. App Connection

Download the LYNKBEY app from your mobile app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot vacuum to your home Wi-Fi network. Note that the device requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection.

Operating Instructions

1. Starting a Cleaning Cycle

Press the power button on the robot or use the mobile app to start a cleaning cycle. The robot will begin mapping its environment and cleaning according to its programmed mode.

2. Cleaning Modes

The LYNKBEY M20 Pro supports various cleaning modes, including vacuuming, mopping, and combined vacuuming and mopping. Select your desired mode via the mobile app. The mopping system applies 10N downward pressure for effective cleaning and can lift 15mm to avoid carpets.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your LYNKBEY M20 Pro.

1. Dustbin Emptying

The self-empty dock automatically empties the robot's dustbin. Replace the dust bag in the dock every 1-2 months, or as indicated by the app, depending on usage and household debris levels. Avoid manually emptying the dust bag by pulling dirt through the hole, as this can reduce its effectiveness.

2. Water Tank Maintenance

Regularly check and refill the clean water tank. Empty and clean the dirty water tank to prevent odor and bacterial growth.

3. Mop Pad Washing and Drying

The dock automatically washes the mop pads. The hot air drying system rapidly dries the mopping pads within 3 hours after cleaning to prevent mildew and odors.

4. Roller Brush and Side Brush Cleaning

Periodically inspect and clean the main roller brush and side brushes. Remove any hair, threads, or debris that may have become entangled. This is crucial for maintaining effective cleaning performance and preventing error messages.

Video 1: Demonstration of checking and cleaning the roller brush. Note: This video is provided by a customer and shows a common issue where the robot reports the roller brush is intertwined even when it appears clean.

5. Filter Cleaning

Clean the filter regularly to maintain strong suction. Tap out dust or use a small brush. Replace the filter as needed, typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your LYNKBEY M20 Pro, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Robot reports "roller brush has become intertwined" but appears clean:

This can sometimes be a software or sensor issue. Ensure the roller brush is correctly seated and free of any debris, even small particles. Try restarting the robot. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

  • Robot does not move or travels in circles:

Check for obstructions around the wheels and sensors. Clean the cliff sensors and bumper. Ensure the robot is on a flat surface. A full restart of the robot and the app may resolve navigation issues.

  • Robot frequently stops or requires attention:

This may indicate a full dustbin, tangled brushes, or dirty sensors. Perform routine maintenance as described in the "Maintenance" section. Ensure the cleaning area is free of small objects or loose cables.

  • Difficulty connecting to Wi-Fi or app:

Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. The robot does not support 5 GHz networks. Verify your Wi-Fi password and signal strength. Try resetting the robot's Wi-Fi connection and re-pairing with the app.

  • Mop pads not drying completely or emitting odor:

Ensure the hot air drying vent on the dock is not obstructed. Clean the dirty water tank and ensure it is empty before cleaning cycles. If odors persist, clean the mop pads thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reattaching.
