Battery Life

Troubleshooting
Feeder not turning on or holding charge:
- Ensure the feeder was charged for at least 10 hours before first use.
- Verify the USB cable and power adapter are working correctly. Some users report better performance with low amp chargers.
- If the battery life has significantly degraded after prolonged use (e.g., 2 years), consider keeping the unit plugged in if possible, as the battery may be nearing the end of its lifespan.
Food not dispensing or dispensing too much/too little:
- Check the food drum for clogs or blockages.
- Adjust the feeding slider to control the portion size. Experiment with manual feeds over an empty container to find the optimal setting for your specific food type and size.
- Ensure the food type is suitable for the feeder (granules, flakes, powders). Very large or irregularly shaped food might cause issues.
Difficulty setting time or schedule:
- Refer to the "Operating Instructions" section carefully, especially the steps for "Clock Setting" and "Custom Feeding Mode".
- Ensure you are pressing the "SET" button to confirm each step and the "MANUAL" button to save and exit the programming mode.
- If settings are not saving, try performing a full reset (long press "▼" for 5 seconds) and then re-program.
