5. Setup
- Prepare your workspace: Place a cutting mat on a stable surface to protect your table and ensure clean cuts.

- Adjust the cutting diameter:
- Unscrew the knob on the adjustable slider.
- Slide the pointer along the clear scale ruler (marked in centimeters and inches) to your desired radius. Remember, the measurement you set is the radius, so the final circle's diameter will be double this value.
- Lock the knob securely in place by screwing it tight.

6. Operating Instructions
- Position the paper: Place the paper you wish to cut on the cutting mat. If the paper tends to move, use tape to secure it to the mat.
- Center the cutter: Place the transparent top handle with the cross-positioning points directly over the desired center of your circle. Apply gentle pressure to hold it in place.
- Begin cutting: While maintaining pressure on the center point, rotate the compass blade in a clockwise direction. Ensure the blade makes continuous contact with the paper.
- Complete the cut: Continue rotating until a full circle is cut. You may need to apply firm, even pressure, especially for thicker materials.
- Remove the cut circle: Carefully lift the cutter and remove your perfectly cut circle.

8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Uneven or incomplete cuts | Dull blade, insufficient pressure, paper shifting, incorrect diameter setting. | Replace the blade (refer to Section 7.1). Apply firm, even pressure. Secure paper with tape. Double-check diameter setting. |
| Cutter not rotating smoothly | Paper scraps obstructing mechanism, tight knob. | Clean any debris from the cutter. Ensure the knob is not overtightened, allowing the blade arm to move freely. |
| Blade not engaging paper | Blade cap still on, blade not properly installed, worn blade. | Remove the blade cap. Re-install the blade correctly. Replace the blade if worn. |
