Maintenance

Cleaning

Clean the helmet shell with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasives, or solvents that could damage the ABS material.

The replaceable sweatband can be detached and washed separately with mild soap and water, then air-dried.

Inspection

Regularly inspect the helmet for any signs of damage, including cracks, dents, discoloration, or degradation of the shell or suspension system. Check the chinstrap for fraying or damage.

Storage

Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and chemical exposure. Do not store heavy objects on top of the helmet.

Replacement

Replace the helmet immediately after any impact, even if damage is not visible. The protective properties may be compromised. The typical service life of a hard hat is 2-5 years from the manufacturing date, depending on usage and environmental conditions. Refer to the helmet's warning sign for production date.

Troubleshooting

Helmet feels loose or uncomfortable:

Ensure the ratchet knob is tightened sufficiently. Adjust the Y-Type chinstrap for a snug fit. Check if the suspension system is correctly seated.

Visor does not stay in place:

Verify that the visor is correctly aligned and clicked into its attachment points. For internal visors, ensure it is fully inserted into the guide slots.

Reduced airflow:

Check if the breather switches are open. Clean any debris that might be obstructing the vents.
