Safety Information

  • Ensure the dispenser is installed on a stable and appropriate surface as described in the installation section.
  • Do not immerse the entire unit in water, despite its IPX7 waterproof rating. The rating applies to splashes and humid environments, not full submersion.
  • Use only liquids compatible with the dispenser, such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, or lotion. Avoid liquids containing particles, as these may clog the mechanism.
  • Keep out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion of liquids or tampering with the device.
  • Do not mix different types of liquids within the same chamber.
  • Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.

Please check the package contents to ensure all items are present:

  • AIKE Automatic Shower Soap Dispenser (1 unit)
  • Mounting Hardware (screws, wall anchors, or adhesive strips, depending on chosen installation method)
  • User Manual (this document)

Note: 4 AA batteries are required for operation and are not included in the package.

Setup and Installation

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment, typically on the back or top of the dispenser.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Choosing an Installation Method

The AIKE dispenser offers two installation options: adhesive mounting or screw mounting. Choose the method best suited for your wall surface and personal preference.

Adhesive installation is recommended for dry, clean, smooth, and firm surfaces like marble, steel, ceramic, mirror, and glass. Screw installation is suitable for painted walls, wallpaper, rough surfaces, rustic tile, and wooden surfaces.

3. Adhesive Installation (No Drilling)

This method is ideal for smooth, non-peeling surfaces. Ensure the wall surface is dry, clean, and firm before proceeding.

  1. Clean the desired installation area thoroughly and let it dry completely.
  2. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive backing on the mounting plate.
  3. Carefully align the mounting plate on the wall.
  4. Press firmly on all sections of the tape, especially the top area, to remove air bubbles and ensure a strong bond. Hold for at least 30 seconds.
  5. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours before hanging the dispenser and filling it with liquids. This ensures maximum adhesion.

4. Screw Installation (Drilling Required)

This method provides a more permanent and secure installation, suitable for various wall types.

  1. Mark the desired drilling points on the wall using the mounting plate as a template.
  2. Drill holes at the marked points. Insert wall anchors if necessary.
  3. Align the mounting plate with the drilled holes and secure it with screws.
  4. Attach the dispenser to the secured mounting plate.

5. Placement Considerations

Ensure there is adequate space below the dispenser for dispensing. A minimum of 10 inches (25.4 cm) gap is recommended if installed above a countertop or other object to allow for proper sensor function and dispensing clearance.

6. Filling the Chambers

The dispenser features three separate chambers, each with a capacity of 320ml (10.8 fl.oz).

  1. Open the top cover of the dispenser.
  2. Pour your desired liquid (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, or lotion) into each chamber.
  3. Close the top cover securely.

Important: Do not use liquids containing particles, such as scrubs or exfoliants, as these can clog the dispensing mechanism.

Operating Instructions

1. Touch-Free Dispensing

The AIKE dispenser utilizes a sensitive sensor for touch-free operation, promoting hygiene and convenience.

  • Place your hand approximately 2-3 inches (5-7 cm) below the desired dispensing nozzle.
  • The sensor will detect your hand and automatically dispense the liquid.
  • Remove your hand once the desired amount is dispensed.

2. Adjusting Dispensing Volume

The dispenser offers 5 adjustable levels for dispensing volume, allowing you to customize the amount of liquid dispensed per activation.

Refer to the product's specific instructions or buttons (if any) for adjusting the volume. Typically, there is a button or a sequence of hand gestures to cycle through the dispensing levels.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Dispenser

The AIKE dispenser is IPX7 waterproof, making it easy to clean and maintain.

  • Wipe the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth.
  • For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the surface.
  • You can confidently rinse the exterior with water to keep it clean and new.

2. Refilling Liquids

When a chamber is low on liquid, simply open the top cover and refill as described in the "Filling the Chambers" section under Setup.

3. Battery Replacement

When the dispensing becomes weak or stops, it's likely time to replace the batteries. Follow the "Battery Installation" steps in the Setup section to replace all 4 AA batteries.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Dispenser not working or weak dispense.Low or dead batteries. Incorrect battery polarity.Replace all 4 AA batteries with new ones, ensuring correct polarity.
Liquid not dispensing or dispensing slowly.Chamber is empty. Liquid is too thick or contains particles. Dispensing nozzle is clogged.Refill the chamber. Use thinner liquids or dilute thick liquids (if appropriate for the product). Clean the dispensing nozzle.
Sensor not responding.Obstruction near the sensor. Sensor is wet or dirty.Ensure nothing is blocking the sensor. Wipe the sensor area clean and dry.
Dispenser activates unexpectedly.Water droplets or steam interfering with the sensor.Ensure the sensor area is dry. If persistent, consider relocating the dispenser slightly away from direct spray or heavy steam.
Dispenser falls off the wall (adhesive installation).Improper surface preparation (not clean/dry/firm). Insufficient curing time. Air bubbles in adhesive.Re-install using new adhesive strips, ensuring the surface is perfectly clean and dry, pressing firmly to remove all air bubbles, and allowing at least 24 hours for curing before use. Consider screw installation for added security.
