1. Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the installation and maintenance of the roborock Qrevo Series Main Brush Cover. This accessory is designed to protect the main brush and ensure optimal cleaning performance for your compatible roborock robot vacuum cleaner.
Compatibility: This main brush cover is compatible with roborock Qrevo, Qrevo S, Qrevo Pro, and Qrevo MaxV robot vacuum models.
2. Product Features
- Floating Design: The cover features a versatile floating mechanism that allows it to adjust to various floor surfaces, ensuring consistent contact and improved cleaning effectiveness.
- Shock-Absorbing Rubber Coating: Equipped with a special shock-absorbing rubber pad where it contacts the floor, this design reduces wear on the cover and helps prevent damage to your flooring.
- Anti-Tangle Design: The unique structure of the main brush cover helps to block and contain hair, preventing it from tangling around the main brush.
- Snap-on Structure: Designed for ease of use, the cover features a snap-on mechanism for simple, one-handed installation and removal.
3. Installation
Follow these steps to install or replace the main brush cover on your roborock Qrevo series robot vacuum:
- Power Off: Ensure your robot vacuum is powered off before beginning installation.
- Access Brush Compartment: Turn the robot vacuum upside down to access the main brush compartment.
- Remove Old Cover (if applicable): Locate the two release tabs on the existing main brush cover. Press these tabs inward and lift the cover to remove it.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance of the main brush cover helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your robot vacuum.
- Cleaning Frequency: Inspect the main brush cover weekly, or more frequently if your robot vacuum operates in areas with high hair or debris accumulation.
- Hair Removal: The anti-tangle design helps, but some hair may still accumulate. Remove any tangled hair or debris from the small brushes and the edges of the cover.
- Wipe Down: Use a dry cloth to wipe down the cover and remove any dust or dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Check for Damage: Periodically check the rubber coating and the snap-on tabs for any signs of wear or damage. Replace the cover if it is damaged to maintain proper function and floor protection.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues related to the main brush cover, consider the following:
- Cover Not Securing: Ensure the cover is correctly aligned and pressed down firmly until both snap-on tabs click into place. Check for any obstructions preventing proper closure.
- Increased Noise: A loose or improperly installed cover can cause increased operational noise. Reinstall the cover, ensuring it is fully secured.
- Reduced Cleaning Performance: Excessive hair or debris trapped under the cover or around the main brush can hinder cleaning. Perform thorough maintenance as described in Section 4.
- Floor Scratches: If the shock-absorbing rubber coating is damaged or missing, it may lead to floor scratches. Inspect the cover for damage and replace if necessary.
