Setup and Installation

Important Safety Information

Always turn off the main gas supply before performing any installation or maintenance. This device is for GAS fireplace only and is NOT a power supply / ignitor unit. It passes voltage from your fireplace thermopile to the valve for safety reasons. If your house is UNATTENDED, do NOT use any remote functions, and DO turn OFF main gas supply.

Wiring for Millivolt Valve Systems

For fireplaces with a millivolt gas valve, connect the controller box to the TH/TP and TH terminals on the gas valve. The thermopile/pilot light generates the necessary voltage. Ensure connections are secure.
