Setup

1. Charging the Numpad

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the CIDOO V21. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the numpad's USB-C port and the other end to a powered USB port (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The FN key will indicate charging status:

• Flash Red: Charging
• Always Red Light: Fully Charged
• Red Light Off: Charging complete (or not charging)

2. Connectivity Modes

The CIDOO V21 supports three connectivity modes: Wired, 2.4GHz Wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0. A switch on the side of the numpad allows you to select your preferred mode.

• Wired Mode (USB-C):

  Connect the numpad directly to your computer using the provided USB-C cable. This mode also charges the device.
• 2.4GHz Wireless Mode:

  Insert the 2.4GHz USB receiver (located in a compartment on the numpad) into an available USB port on your computer. Switch the numpad to 2.4GHz mode. The numpad should automatically connect.

• Bluetooth 5.0 Mode:

  Switch the numpad to Bluetooth mode. On your device (computer, laptop, etc.), search for Bluetooth devices and select "CIDOO V21" to pair. The numpad can store multiple Bluetooth connections.

3. VIA Software Setup

The CIDOO V21 is VIA programmable, allowing for advanced customization. To use VIA:

1. Download the VIA software from the official VIA website or CIDOO's official website (cidootech.com).
2. Connect the numpad to your computer via USB-C cable.
3. Open the VIA software. It should automatically detect the CIDOO V21. If not, you may need to load the appropriate JSON file for the "CIDOO V21 V2" model. This file can typically be found on cidootech.com's software download page.
4. Once detected, you can remap keys, create macros, and adjust RGB lighting effects.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Numpad Use

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

To clean your numpad, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, you may remove keycaps using the provided keycap puller and clean around the switches with compressed air or a small brush. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

2. Keycap and Switch Replacement

The CIDOO V21 features hot-swappable switches, allowing for easy replacement without soldering. Use the provided keycap puller to remove keycaps and the switch puller to carefully remove switches. Align new switches correctly before pressing them firmly into place. Ensure the pins are straight to avoid bending.

Troubleshooting

• Numpad not responding:
  • Ensure the correct connectivity mode (Wired, 2.4GHz, Bluetooth) is selected via the side switch.
  • For wired mode, check USB-C cable connection.
  • For 2.4GHz, ensure the USB receiver is properly inserted and the numpad is in 2.4GHz mode.
  • For Bluetooth, ensure the numpad is paired and within range. Try re-pairing if connection is lost.
  • Check battery level; charge if low.
• VIA software not detecting numpad:
  • Ensure the numpad is connected via USB-C. VIA only works in wired mode for configuration.
  • Verify you have the correct VIA software version.

• RGB lighting not working or incorrect:
