2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Pre-Installation Checklist
- Verify the hood dimensions (46"W x 21"D x 14.25"H) and ensure your custom hood shell has a cut-out dimension of 44-5/8"W x 19-5/8"D.
- Confirm appropriate mounting height: 24-30 inches above electric cooktops, 28-30 inches above gas cooktops.
- Ensure a 6-inch round duct is available for ducted installation. For ductless conversion, ensure charcoal filters (sold separately) are acquired.

4. Maintenance

- To remove: Pull the handle on each filter and slide it out.
- To clean: Place filters in a dishwasher or wash by hand with warm, soapy water.
- To re-install: Slide the clean filters back into their slots until securely in place.

4.2 Grease Collector Tube
Regularly check and empty the grease collector tube to prevent overflow and maintain optimal performance.
