4.3 Power Connection
Connect the power cable to the power input on the rear of the miner, then plug the other end into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet provides 220V-240V AC power.
4.4 Initial Power On
Once network and power are connected, the miner will power on automatically. The status indicator lights will illuminate, and the fans will begin to operate. Allow a few minutes for the system to initialize.
4.5 Configuration
Access the miner's web interface via its IP address (which can be found using a network scanner or by checking your router's connected devices). Log in using the default credentials (refer to specific documentation or manufacturer website if not provided). Configure your mining pool settings and other parameters as required.
5. Operating Instructions
After successful setup and configuration, the Avalon 1246 miner will begin its mining operations. You can monitor its status and performance through the web interface.
- Status Indicators: Observe the LED indicators on the rear panel for operational status. Typically, a solid green light indicates normal operation, while blinking or red lights may indicate an issue.
- Performance Monitoring: The web interface provides real-time data on hashrate, temperature, fan speed, and power consumption. Regularly check these metrics to ensure optimal performance.
- Shutdown: To safely shut down the miner, use the designated shutdown option in the web interface. Avoid simply unplugging the power cable during operation.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and stable operation of your miner.
- Dust Removal: Periodically clean dust from the fans and heatsinks using compressed air. Ensure the miner is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Environmental Control: Maintain a stable operating environment within the specified temperature and humidity ranges. Excessive dust or humidity can lead to component failure.
- Firmware Updates: Check the OEMGMINER official website for any available firmware updates. Apply updates as recommended to improve performance or address security vulnerabilities.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Power: Check the power cable connection and the electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage is correct (220V-240V).
- No Network Connection: Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected. Check your router and network settings. Restart the miner and your network equipment.
- Low Hashrate: This could be due to network issues, incorrect pool configuration, or overheating. Check the miner's web interface for error messages or high temperatures. Ensure proper ventilation.
- Overheating: Ensure fans are operating correctly and are free from obstructions. Improve ambient airflow. Check the operating temperature in the web interface.
