4. Setup

4.1. Blade Installation/Removal

  1. Ensure the saw is unplugged from the power source.
  2. Press and hold the Shaft Locking Button to secure the blade shaft.
  3. Use the provided Allen Wrench to loosen the blade bolt by turning it counter-clockwise.
  4. Remove the outer flange and the old blade.
  5. Place the new blade onto the shaft, ensuring the teeth are pointing in the direction of rotation (indicated by an arrow on the blade guard).
  6. Replace the outer flange and tighten the blade bolt clockwise with the Allen Wrench while holding the Shaft Locking Button.
  7. Release the Shaft Locking Button.

4.2. Auxiliary Handle Installation

The auxiliary metal handle can be installed on either the left or right side of the saw for improved grip and stability.

  1. Locate the threaded inserts on both sides of the saw's body.
  2. Screw the auxiliary handle into the desired side until it is securely fastened.

4.3. Connecting Dust Extraction

Attach a vacuum cleaner hose to the vacuum adapter for efficient dust collection during operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Adjusting Cutting Depth (90° Cross Cutting)

The cutting depth can be adjusted up to 1-11/16 inches for 90° cross-cutting.

  1. Loosen the Depth Adjustment Lever.
  2. Move the base plate up or down to achieve the desired cutting depth.
  3. Tighten the Depth Adjustment Lever securely.

5.2. Adjusting Bevel Angle (45° Bevel Cutting)

The bevel angle can be adjusted from 0° to 45°, allowing for a maximum cutting depth of 1-3/8 inches at 45°.

  1. Loosen the Bevel Adjustment Lever.
  2. Tilt the base plate to the desired angle (0° to 45°).
  3. Tighten the Bevel Adjustment Lever securely.

5.3. Using the Laser Guide and Edge Guide for Precise Cutting

The built-in laser guide and edge guide assist in making straight and accurate cuts.

  1. Align the laser line with your desired cut line on the workpiece.
  2. For parallel cuts, attach the edge guide and adjust it to the desired distance from the blade.
  3. Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped before starting the cut.

5.4. General Operation

  1. Plug the saw into a 110-volt power outlet.
  2. Hold the saw firmly with both hands, utilizing the auxiliary handle for added stability.
  3. Press the Safety Lock Button, then press the ON/OFF Switch to start the saw.
  4. Allow the blade to reach full speed before beginning the cut.
  5. Slowly and steadily guide the saw through the workpiece, maintaining constant pressure. Do not force the saw.
  6. Once the cut is complete, release the ON/OFF Switch and allow the blade to stop completely before lifting the saw from the workpiece.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your circular saw.

  • Cleaning: After each use, unplug the saw and use a brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from the motor vents, blade guard, and base plate. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
