Follow these steps to set up your spot welder for the first time:

Operating the AGOAL 8000W Spot Welder is straightforward:

  1. Power On: Turn on the spot welder using the power switch.
  2. Adjust Power Gear: Use the power adjustment knob to select the desired current level (1-9 gears). Start with a lower setting for thinner nickel strips (e.g., 0.1mm) and gradually increase for thicker ones (up to 0.3mm).
  3. Position Materials: Place the nickel strip firmly onto the battery terminal where you intend to weld.
  4. Initiate Weld: Position both welding pens onto the nickel strip, ensuring good contact with the battery terminal underneath.
  5. Activate Welding: Press and hold the foot pedal for approximately 0.5 seconds. The red light on the unit will flash 3 times, indicating a successful weld. Release the foot pedal immediately after the flashes.
  6. Inspect Weld: Carefully check the weld joint for strength and integrity. Adjust the power setting if the weld is too weak or too strong.
  7. Repeat: Move to the next welding point and repeat the process. For optimal results, allow a brief pause (e.g., 30 seconds) between welds, especially for continuous operation, to ensure consistent weld strength.
