1. Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your OEMGMINER Jasminer X4-Q-C ETC ETHW Miner. Please read this manual thoroughly before setting up and operating the device to ensure proper functionality and to prevent damage or injury. Keep this manual for future reference.
2. Safety Information
Adhere to the following safety guidelines to prevent electrical shock, fire, or damage to the device:
- Power Supply: Use only the provided power supply unit (PSU) and power cables. Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded and can handle the miner's power consumption (340W).
- Ventilation: Operate the miner in a well-ventilated area. Do not block the air inlets or outlets. Maintain adequate clearance around the device for airflow.
- Environment: Avoid operating the miner in environments with high humidity, dust, or extreme temperatures. The recommended operating temperature range is 0-40°C.
- Handling: Do not open the miner casing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
- Emergency: In case of smoke, unusual odors, or abnormal noise, immediately disconnect the power supply.
3. Product Overview

4. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your Jasminer X4-Q-C miner:
4.1 Unpacking and Inspection
- Carefully remove the miner from its packaging.
- Inspect the device for any signs of physical damage during transit. If damage is found, contact your vendor immediately.
- Ensure all accessories, including the power cable, are present.
4.2 Placement
- Place the miner on a stable, flat surface.
- Ensure the operating environment is clean, dry, and well-ventilated. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Maintain at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space around all sides of the miner for optimal airflow.
4.3 Connecting Power and Network
- Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port on the miner's rear panel and the other end to your network router or switch.
- Connect the power cable to the power input port on the miner.
- Plug the other end of the power cable into a grounded electrical outlet.
4.4 Initial Power-On
- Once power and network are connected, the miner will automatically power on.
- Observe the indicator lights on the front panel. The network indicator should show activity, and the power indicator should be solid.
- Allow a few minutes for the miner to boot up and acquire an IP address from your network.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Accessing the Web Interface
To configure and monitor your miner, you need to access its web interface:
- Find the Miner's IP Address:
- Use an IP scanner tool on your network (e.g., Advanced IP Scanner, Angry IP Scanner) to find devices. Look for a device named "Jasminer" or similar.
- Alternatively, check your router's DHCP client list for connected devices.
- Some miners have an "IP Report" button (refer to Figure 3.2). Pressing this button might cause the miner to broadcast its IP address, which can be detected by specific tools.
- Open Web Browser: On a computer connected to the same network, open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox).
- Enter IP Address: Type the miner's IP address into the browser's address bar and press Enter.
- Login: You will be prompted for a username and password. Refer to the manufacturer's default credentials (often "root" / "root" or "admin" / "admin"). Change these immediately after the first login for security.
5.2 Configuration
Within the web interface, navigate to the "Miner Configuration" or "Pool Settings" section.
- Pool URL/Address: Enter the URL of your chosen mining pool (e.g.,
stratum+tcp://etc.pool.com:port). - Worker Name: Enter your worker name, typically your wallet address followed by a worker identifier (e.g.,
your_etc_wallet.worker1). - Password: Usually "x" or a blank field, depending on the pool.
- Save Settings: Apply and save the configuration. The miner will restart or begin mining shortly.
5.3 Monitoring
The web interface provides real-time statistics:
- Hash Rate: Displays the current mining performance.
- Temperature: Shows the operating temperature of the mining chips.
- Fan Speed: Indicates the rotation speed of the cooling fans.
- Uptime: How long the miner has been running.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and stable performance of your miner.
- Dust Removal: Periodically clean the miner's exterior, especially the fan grilles and air vents, using compressed air or a soft brush. Ensure the miner is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Environmental Check: Regularly verify that the operating environment remains within the recommended temperature and humidity ranges.
- Firmware Updates: Check the OEMGMINER official website for any available firmware updates. Follow the provided instructions carefully when performing updates. Incorrect firmware updates can damage the device.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
7.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- Miner Does Not Power On:
- Check if the power cable is securely connected to both the miner and the electrical outlet.
- Verify that the power outlet is functional.
- Ensure the power supply unit (PSU) is receiving power.
- No Network Connection:
- Confirm the Ethernet cable is properly connected to both the miner and the router/switch.
- Check your router's status and ensure it's providing network access.
- Restart the miner and your router.
- Low Hash Rate or No Mining Activity:
- Verify your mining pool settings (URL, worker name, password) in the web interface.
- Ensure your internet connection is stable and has sufficient bandwidth.
- Check the miner's temperature. Overheating can lead to reduced performance.
- Restart the miner from the web interface or by power cycling.
- Overheating:
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the miner.
- Clean any dust from the fans and vents.
- Verify that the ambient temperature is within the recommended range.
7.2 Resetting the Miner
If the miner becomes unresponsive, you may need to perform a reset:
- Soft Reset: Access the web interface and look for a "Reboot" or "Restart" option.
- Hard Reset (Power Cycle): Disconnect the power cable from the miner, wait for 30 seconds, then reconnect it.
- Factory Reset: Some miners have a physical reset button (refer to Figure 3.2). Pressing and holding this button for a specified duration (e.g., 5-10 seconds) may restore factory default settings. Note: This will erase all your configurations, including pool settings.
