Maintenance
1. Battery Replacement:
- Transmitter: When the transmitter's LED indicator no longer lights up or the range decreases significantly, it's time to replace the CR2032 battery. Use a small screwdriver to open the battery compartment, replace the battery with a new CR2032, ensuring correct polarity, and close the compartment securely.
- Receiver: When the receiver's sound becomes weak or it stops functioning, replace the 3 AA batteries. Open the battery compartment on the back, replace with fresh AA batteries, and ensure correct polarity.
2. Cleaning:
Wipe the doorbell units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the surface.
3. Weather Resistance:
The transmitter is IP55 waterproof and designed to withstand rain, snow, and direct sunlight. However, avoid submerging it in water or exposing it to extreme conditions beyond its specified operating temperature range (-4°F to 130°F / -20°C to 55°C).
