4. Product Overview
The SURNICE Wireless Doorbell system consists of two main components: the transmitter (push button) and the receiver (chime unit).

Transmitter (Push Button): This unit is installed outside your door. It is IP55 waterproof and powered by a CR2032 battery. When pressed, it sends a wireless signal to the receiver.
Receiver (Chime Unit): This unit is placed indoors. It plays a selected melody and flashes an LED light when it receives a signal from the transmitter. It requires 3x 1.5V batteries (not included) for operation and features buttons for melody selection, volume adjustment, and mode selection.

Understanding the dimensions can assist in selecting appropriate installation locations.
5. Setup and Installation
5.1. Receiver (Chime Unit) Battery Installation

5.2. Transmitter (Push Button) Installation

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Pairing (If necessary)
The units are typically pre-paired from the factory. If they do not work out of the box, or if you add additional transmitters/receivers, follow these steps:
- Press and hold the volume button on the receiver for 5 seconds until you hear a "ding" sound and the LED indicator flashes. This indicates the receiver is in pairing mode.
- Immediately press the transmitter (push button) once.
- If successful, the receiver will play the selected melody.
- The pairing mode will automatically exit after 5 seconds if no signal is received.
6.2. Melody Selection
The receiver offers 36 different melodies.
- Press the "Melody Selection" button (often indicated by a music note icon) on the side of the receiver to cycle through the available melodies.
- Stop pressing when you hear your desired melody. The receiver will remember your selection.

6.3. Volume Adjustment
There are 4 adjustable volume levels, ranging from 0dB (mute) to 115dB.
- Press the "Volume" button (often indicated by a speaker icon) on the side of the receiver to cycle through the volume levels.
- Select the desired volume. The receiver will remember your setting.

6.4. Mode Selection
The receiver offers 3 operational modes:
- Sound Only: The receiver will only play the selected melody.
- Flash Only: The receiver's LED light will flash without playing a sound. This is useful for quiet environments or for individuals with hearing impairments.
- Sound + Flash: The receiver will play the melody and flash its LED light simultaneously.
Press the "Mode" button (often indicated by a light bulb or combination icon) on the side of the receiver to cycle through these modes.
6.5. Operating Range
The SURNICE Wireless Doorbell provides an operating range of up to 1000 ft (300 m) in open areas. Actual range may vary depending on environmental factors such as walls, metal structures, and other wireless interference.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the doorbell units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement (Transmitter): When the transmitter's signal weakens or stops working, replace the CR2032 battery. Carefully open the back cover, replace the battery with a new one, ensuring correct polarity, and close the cover securely.
- Battery Replacement (Receiver): When the receiver's sound becomes faint or stops working, replace the 3x 1.5V batteries. Open the battery compartment, replace the batteries, and close the cover.
- Environmental Conditions: While the transmitter is IP55 waterproof, extreme weather conditions (e.g., prolonged heavy rain, direct sunlight, or freezing temperatures) can affect battery life and performance.
