This manual provides detailed instructions for the JSAUX 12-in-1 USB C Docking Station. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper setup and operation. Keep this manual for future reference.

2. Product Overview

The JSAUX 12-in-1 USB C Docking Station is designed to expand the connectivity of your USB-C enabled devices, offering a versatile solution for multi-monitor setups, high-speed data transfer, and power delivery.

• 12-in-1 Connectivity: Includes 2x 4K HDMI, 1x 4K DisplayPort (DP), 1x USB C 3.0 Power Delivery (100W), 1x USB C 3.0, 1x USB C Input, 1x USB A 3.0, 1x USB A 2.0, 1x 3.5mm audio jack, 1x SD card reader (5Gbps), 1x TF card reader (5Gbps), and 1x Gigabit Ethernet (1000Mbps).
• Triple Monitor Support: Equipped with dual 4K@60Hz HDMI ports and a 4K@60Hz DP port, enabling up to three external monitors.

3. Package Contents

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Connecting the Docking Station to Your Host Device

1. Connect the included USB C 3.2 cable (or another compatible USB C 3.2 cable) to the 'IN USB C' port on the docking station.
2. Connect the other end of the USB C cable to your laptop, Steam Deck, or other compatible USB C host device.

4.2 Powering the Docking Station and Host Device

1. Connect your power adapter (not included) to the 'USB C PD' port on the docking station. This port supports up to 100W Power Delivery.
2. Ensure your power adapter is sufficient for both the docking station and your host device. For example, ROG Ally's 30W turbo mode may require a charger over 65W.

4.3 Connecting External Monitors

The docking station supports up to three external monitors with 4K@60Hz resolution.

1. Connect your monitors using HDMI 2.0 cables to the 4K@60Hz HDMI ports on the docking station.
2. Alternatively, connect a monitor using a DisplayPort (DP) cable to the 4K@60Hz DP port.
3. Ensure your device and cables support 4K@60Hz for optimal display quality.

4.4 Connecting Peripherals and Storage

1. Connect USB devices (keyboards, mice, external drives) to the USB A 3.0 (5Gbps) or USB A 2.0 (480Mbps) ports.
2. Insert SD or TF cards into the respective 5Gbps card reader slots for data transfer.
3. For wired network connectivity, connect an Ethernet cable to the 1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet port.
4. Connect headphones or speakers to the 3.5mm audio jack.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Display Modes (Windows)

For Windows users, the docking station supports both Mirror Mode and Extend Mode across multiple displays.

• Extend Mode: Allows you to display different content on each connected monitor, expanding your desktop workspace.
• Mirror Mode: Duplicates the content of your primary display across all connected monitors.

5.2 Display Modes (Mac OS)

Due to MacOS constraints, Multi-Stream Transport (MST) is unsupported on Apple devices. In extended mode, only two different display contents are available for Mac users.

• Extend Mode: Allows for two distinct display contents.
• Mirror Mode: Duplicates the content of your primary display across all connected monitors.

6. Important Notes & Compatibility

• Always use the included USB C cable or another USB C 3.2 cable and connect it to the 'IN USB C' port for optimal performance.
• For 4K@60Hz output, ensure your host device supports this resolution and use HDMI 2.0 cables.
• Max charging for Steam Deck is 45W.
• Compatible devices include MacBook, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Steam Deck, and portable monitors.

• Keep the docking station clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
• Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.

9. Troubleshooting

• No display output: Ensure all cables are securely connected. Verify your host device and monitors support the selected resolution and refresh rate. Check display settings on your operating system.
• Charging issues: Confirm your power adapter is connected to the 'USB C PD' port and provides sufficient wattage for your host device.
• Slow data transfer: Ensure you are using USB 3.0/3.2 compatible devices and cables for the high-speed ports. Check network cable connection for Ethernet speed.
• Intermittent connection: Try restarting your host device and reconnecting the docking station. Ensure no loose connections.
