4. Setup
4.1 Power Connection
- Connect the power cable to the projector's power input port.
- Plug the other end of the power cable into a power outlet.
- Press the power button on the projector or remote control to turn it on.
4.2 Placement and Screen Size
Position the projector on a stable, flat surface. The optimal projection distance will vary based on the desired screen size. The projector supports a maximum screen size of 170 inches.

4.3 Focus and Keystone Adjustment
After powering on, adjust the focus and keystone correction dials on the side of the projector to achieve a clear and rectangular image.
- Focus Dial: Rotate to sharpen the image clarity.
- Keystone Dial: Adjusts the vertical angle of the image to correct trapezoidal distortion.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the power button on the projector or remote control.
- Menu Navigation: Use the arrow buttons on the projector or remote to navigate menus. Press 'OK' or 'Enter' to confirm selections.
- Source Selection: Press the 'Source' button to choose your input method (HDMI, USB, AV, Screen Mirroring).
5.2 Wired Connections
The projector supports various wired connections for different devices.

- HDMI: Connect devices like laptops, game consoles (PS4/Xbox), DVD players, or TV sticks using an HDMI cable. Select 'HDMI' as the input source.
- USB: Insert a USB flash drive to play media files (photos, videos, music). Select 'USB' as the input source.
- AV: Use the AV cable to connect older devices like VCRs or some DVD players. Select 'AV' as the input source.
- Audio Out: Connect external speakers or headphones to the 3.5mm audio jack for enhanced sound.
5.3 Wireless Connections (Screen Mirroring)
The projector supports both wired (via USB for iOS) and wireless screen mirroring for smartphones and tablets, as well as Windows Cast and DLNA.

5.3.1 Wireless Mirroring for iOS/Android
To mirror your smartphone or tablet screen wirelessly:

- Go to the "Screen Cast" homepage on the projector.
- Navigate to "Cast Setting" > "Network" to connect the projector to your home Wi-Fi network.
- Go back to the "Screen Cast" homepage and select either "iOS Cast" for Apple devices or "Miracast" for Android devices.
- For iOS: On your iOS device, turn on Screen Mirroring and select the projector (e.g., "ROTA-188D"). Ensure your iOS device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the projector.
- For Android: On your Android device, turn on the wireless display/screen cast feature (often found in settings under 'Cast', 'Smart View', 'Wireless Display', etc.) and select the projector (e.g., "ROTA-188D").
- The screen should now be mirrored.
5.3.2 Windows Cast & DLNA
The projector also supports Windows Cast for wireless screen mirroring from laptops and DLNA for media streaming.

- Windows Cast: Allows wireless screen mirroring from a Windows laptop directly to the projector without requiring a network connection.
- DLNA: For iOS/Android devices, DLNA enables streaming video content to the projector while allowing you to use your device for other tasks simultaneously.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Casing: Wipe the projector's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly.
- Ventilation Ports: Regularly check and clean the ventilation ports to ensure unobstructed airflow and prevent overheating. Use a soft brush or compressed air.
6.2 Storage
When not in use, store the projector in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If possible, use the original packaging or a protective case to prevent dust accumulation and damage.
