Setup

Battery Installation and Charging:

The PRUNUS J-180 comes with a pre-installed 1800mAh rechargeable battery. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the device.

1. Locate the DC 5V Type-C charging port on the side of the radio.
2. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the radio and the other end to a standard 5V USB power adapter (not included).
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light may change color or turn off (refer to specific product behavior).

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

Rotate the Volume knob clockwise to turn the radio ON. Rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn OFF.

Radio Mode (FM/AM/SW):

1. Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception.
2. Use the Band Selector switch to choose between FM, AM, or SW bands.
3. Rotate the Tuning knob to search for radio stations.
4. Adjust the Volume knob to your desired listening level.

Bluetooth Mode:

1. Press the Mode button until "Bluetooth" mode is announced or indicated.
2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for "PRUNUS J-180".
3. Select the device to pair. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.
4. You can now play audio from your device through the radio. Use the radio's Play/Pause and track navigation buttons, or control directly from your paired device.

USB/TF Card Playback:

1. Insert a USB flash drive or a TF (MicroSD) card containing MP3 audio files into the respective port.
2. The radio will automatically switch to USB or TF card mode and begin playing. If not, press the Mode button to select the correct source.
3. Use the Play/Pause and track navigation buttons to control playback.

AUX Input:

1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX input port on the radio.
2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player).
3. Press the Mode button to select AUX mode.
4. Control playback and volume from your external device.

Maintenance

• Clean the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Keep the device away from dust and direct sunlight.
• If not in use for an extended period, charge the battery periodically to maintain its lifespan.
