  3. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

Placement:

  • Place the dehumidifier on a flat, level surface strong enough to support the unit when the water bucket is full.
  • Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper air circulation. Do not place it against a wall or furniture.
  • Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near heat-generating appliances.
  • For optimal performance, operate the dehumidifier in an enclosed area. Close all doors and windows in the room where the unit is operating.

  • Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel:

The control panel is located on the top of the unit. It includes various buttons and indicators for operation.

(Note: Specific button layouts and indicators may vary slightly. Refer to the diagram on your unit for precise identification.)

Starting the Dehumidifier:

  1. Press the POWER button to turn the unit on. The display will show the current room humidity level.
  2. Press the MODE button to select the desired operating mode (e.g., Continuous, Auto, Manual).
  3. Use the HUMIDITY SETTING buttons (Up/Down arrows) to set your desired humidity level. The recommended range is typically between 40% and 60% relative humidity.
  4. Press the FAN SPEED button to select between High or Low fan speeds. A higher speed will remove moisture faster.

Water Removal Options:

Your dehumidifier offers two methods for water removal:

1. Manual Drain (Water Bucket):

  • When the water bucket is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and the "Bucket Full" indicator light will illuminate.
  • Carefully pull out the water bucket from the front of the unit.
  • Empty the collected water.
  • Slide the empty bucket back into the unit until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.

2. Continuous Drain (Hose Connection):

  • For continuous operation without emptying the bucket, attach a standard garden hose (not included) to the continuous drain port located on the back of the unit.
  • Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity to drain the water to a suitable floor drain or large container.
  • Do not allow the end of the hose to be submerged in water, as this can cause water to back up into the unit.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

Cleaning the Air Filter:

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the air filter (usually at the back or side of the unit). Remove it by gently pulling it out.
  3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it. Do not use a dishwasher or hot water.
  5. Reinsert the dry filter back into the unit.

Cleaning the Dehumidifier Body:

  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.
  • Ensure no water enters the control panel or electrical components.

Water Bucket Cleaning:

  • Clean the water bucket periodically to prevent mold and mildew growth.
  • Wash with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry before replacing.

Long-Term Storage:

  • If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water bucket is empty and clean.
  • Clean the air filter.
  • Coil the power cord neatly.
  • Store the unit upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
