Setup

1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the keyboard and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any visible damage or missing components. Ensure the USB-C cable, extra switches, and additional keycaps are present.

2. Charging the Keyboard

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port (located on the top edge) and the other end to a powered USB-A port on your computer or a wall adapter. The Sidelight indicator will show charging status.

3. Adjusting Keyboard Angle

The Halo75 features adjustable feet on the underside to customize your typing angle. Gently pull out the feet to your preferred height. There are multiple levels of adjustment for ergonomic comfort.

Operating the Keyboard

1. Powering On/Off

Locate the power switch on the top edge of the keyboard. Slide it to the 'On' position to power on the device. Slide it to 'Off' when not in use to conserve battery life.

2. Connection Modes

The Halo75 supports three connection methods:

Wired Mode: Connect the keyboard to your computer using the provided USB-C cable. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode.
2.4G Wireless Mode: Plug the 2.4G USB dongle (usually stored in a compartment on the keyboard) into your computer's USB port. Switch the keyboard to 2.4G mode using the dedicated switch on the top edge.
Bluetooth Mode:
1. Switch the keyboard to Bluetooth mode using the dedicated switch.
2. On your device (computer, tablet, phone), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
3. Select "NuPhy Halo75" from the list of available devices to pair.
4. The keyboard can connect to up to 4 devices via Bluetooth. Use specific key combinations (refer to the included quick start guide for details) to switch between paired devices.

3. OS Compatibility Switch

A dedicated switch on the top edge allows you to toggle between Mac and Windows layouts, ensuring correct key bindings for your operating system.

4. RGB Lighting Control

The Halo75 features extensive RGB lighting. Use the NuPhy Console software for full customization. Basic controls for changing lighting effects, brightness, and speed are available via key combinations (refer to the quick start guide).

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Keyboard

Regular cleaning helps maintain the keyboard's appearance and functionality. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals. For deeper cleaning, keycaps can be removed using a keycap puller.

2. Keycap and Switch Replacement

The Halo75 is hot-swappable, allowing for easy replacement of switches and keycaps. Use the provided tools (keycap puller and switch puller) to carefully remove and install components. Ensure proper alignment when inserting new switches to avoid bending pins.

Troubleshooting
