Introduction

Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• Ensure all bed components are securely assembled. Regularly check and tighten all bolts and connections.
• Do not exceed the weight limit of 400 lb (approximately 181 kg) per bunk.
• Always use the provided guardrails on the top bunk. The top bunk features a 13.18-inch safety rail and a 14.5-inch heightened guard rail for enhanced safety.
• Use the ladder for climbing to and from the top bunk. The ladder features flat rungs for comfortable and safe climbing.
• Be aware of potential entrapment risks. Ensure no gaps exist that could trap a child's head or body.
• Suffocation hazard: Never place plastic bags or other plastic film on mattresses.
• Use appropriate bedding materials. Do not use mattresses that are too thick or too thin, as this can compromise guardrail effectiveness. Compatible with standard twin size mattresses.
• This bunk bed is suitable for children, teenagers, and adults.
• An anti-tipping device is included and should be mounted to the wall to ensure stability and prevent accidental tipping.

Components List

Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this bunk bed. It is recommended that at least two adults assemble the bed for safety and ease. Follow the included step-by-step instructions provided in the packaging. A basic tool kit may be helpful in addition to the provided tools.

1. Unpack all components and verify against the components list.
2. Begin by assembling the main frame sections, ensuring all connections are secure but not fully tightened until all major components are in place.
3. Attach the metal bed slats to both the upper and lower bunks. The quick-assembled bed slats are designed for easy installation.
4. Install the guardrails on the top bunk.
5. Attach the ladder. The removable ladder can be attached to either side of the bunk bed for convenience.
6. Once all structural components are in place, fully tighten all bolts and connections.
7. Install the anti-tipping device by mounting it to a sturdy wall and securing it to the bed frame.

Operating Instructions

• Ensure mattresses are properly sized for the twin beds.
• Always use the ladder to access the top bunk. Do not jump on or off the bunk bed.
• The flat rungs on the ladder are designed for comfortable and secure footing.
• The bunk bed provides approximately 10 inches of under-bed space, which can be utilized for storage with appropriate containers.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect all bolts, nuts, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary.
• Stability: Ensure the anti-tipping device remains securely attached to both the wall and the bed frame.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Bed feels wobbly or unstable.

Solution: Check all assembly bolts and connections. Ensure they are fully tightened. Verify that the anti-tipping device is properly installed and secured to a sturdy wall.

Issue: Ladder rungs feel uncomfortable or slippery.

Solution: The VINGLI bunk bed features flat rungs designed for comfort. Ensure no debris or foreign objects are on the rungs. If the rubber covers are damaged or missing, contact customer support for replacements.

Issue: Difficulty fitting mattress or mattress too high.

Solution: Ensure you are using a standard twin size mattress. The top bunk guardrail is 13.18 inches high, and the heightened guard rail is 14.5 inches. The mattress should not exceed a thickness that compromises the safety height of the guardrails.
