4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the toaster and all accessories from the packaging. Remove any protective films or stickers.
  2. Placement: Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials such as curtains or walls. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the toaster.
  3. First Use: Before toasting food for the first time, operate the toaster without bread for a few cycles at the highest browning setting (8) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal and will dissipate. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
  4. Power Connection: Ensure your power outlet voltage matches the rating label on the bottom of the toaster (230V). Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Toasting Bread

  1. Place one or two slices of bread into the toasting slots. For sandwiches, use the provided stainless steel tongs to hold the sandwich securely.
  2. Select your desired browning level using the browning control dial, from 1 (lightest) to 8 (darkest). A medium setting (3-5) is usually recommended for most bread types.
  3. Press the toast lift lever down until it locks into place. The toaster will begin toasting, and the indicator light (if present) will illuminate.
  4. Once the selected browning cycle is complete, the toast will automatically pop up, and the toaster will switch off.
  5. Carefully remove the toasted bread. If using tongs, ensure they are cool enough to handle.

5.2. Defrost Function

This function is ideal for toasting frozen bread without burning it.

  1. Place frozen bread into the toasting slots.
  2. Select your desired browning level.
  3. Press the toast lift lever down until it locks.
  4. Press the Defrost button. The indicator light for the Defrost function will illuminate. The toaster will automatically adjust the toasting time to first defrost and then toast the bread.
  5. The toast will pop up automatically when done.

5.3. Reheat Function

Use this function to warm up already toasted bread without further browning.

  1. Place previously toasted bread into the slots.
  2. Press the toast lift lever down until it locks.
  3. Press the Reheat button. The indicator light for the Reheat function will illuminate. The toaster will warm the bread for a short period.
  4. The toast will pop up automatically when done.

5.4. Cancel Function

To stop the toasting cycle at any time, simply press the Cancel button. The toast lift lever will immediately release, and the toaster will switch off.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster.

  1. Always unplug the toaster from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Crumb Tray: Pull out the removable crumb tray from the bottom of the toaster. Dispose of the collected crumbs. Wipe the tray with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
  3. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the stainless steel finish. Dry thoroughly.
  4. Interior: Do not attempt to clean the inside of the toaster with sharp objects or by immersing it in water. If food gets stuck, unplug the toaster, allow it to cool, and carefully dislodge it with a non-metallic utensil.
  5. Storage: When not in use, store the toaster in a clean, dry place.
