This document provides instructions for the Girmi BL22 electric kettle, model FK-1505. It covers safety precautions, operation, cleaning, and technical specifications.

Safety Instructions
⚠️ CAUTION: Read all safety instructions carefully before use.
- This appliance is intended for household and similar applications (staff kitchens, offices, hotels, etc.).
- Do not use the appliance for purposes other than heating or boiling water.

- The appliance has a heating function. Surfaces may become hot. Use with CAUTION and touch only intended grip surfaces.
- Do not subject the product to strong impacts.
- Do not use near or under flammable materials, heat sources, cold spots, and steam.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while it is operating.
- Always pour water before turning on the kettle. Never pour liquids after switching on.
- If the kettle operates empty, the safety device will automatically shut it down. It cannot be reactivated until the resistance cools down.
- After boiling, unplug and empty the kettle completely to prevent limescale buildup on the internal resistance.
- Do not immerse the appliance or its base in water or other liquids. Avoid splashes.
- Place the kettle on stable, flat surfaces.

General Information & Operation
First-time Use
Before first use, wash all parts that come into contact with food (the kettle interior) with warm water.
For the first few uses (2-3 times), boil the maximum amount of water (1.7L), discarding the hot water and refilling with cold water each time.
Operating the Kettle
- Pour the desired amount of cold water into the kettle, staying within the MIN (0.5L) and MAX (1.7L) limits.
- Close the lid until it locks.
- Place the kettle securely on the power base.
- Connect the plug to the electrical outlet.
- Press the ON button (2). The control light will illuminate.
- When the water boils, the thermostat will automatically switch off the unit.
- Use the hot water as needed. Ensure the kettle is completely emptied after use to prevent limescale.
- To open the lid, press the lid opening button (8).
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning
- Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the base or kettle in water. Avoid splashes.
- To clean the inside, let it cool, then rinse with warm water to remove residues. Periodic descaling is recommended.
- Clean the base and exterior with a damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive products.
- Never clean by boiling soapy water.
Descaling
- To prevent limescale buildup, periodically clean the kettle.
- Pour water up to half the maximum capacity and add lemon juice.
- Boil the lemon-water mixture 3 times.
- Empty and rinse the kettle by boiling normal water 2-3 times.
