Compatibility
This enclosure is compatible with M.2 NVMe and SATA SSDs. It supports various M.2 SSD sizes including 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280. Please ensure your SSD is an M-key (NVMe) or B+M key (NVMe/SATA) type. It does not support B-key SATA SSDs.

Installation Guide (Tool-Free)
Follow these steps to install your M.2 SSD into the enclosure:
- Open the Enclosure: Press and hold the "OPEN" button located at the end of the enclosure and gently push the plastic inner frame outwards to slide it out.
- Insert SSD: Carefully insert your M.2 SSD into the slot on the inner frame, ensuring the gold contacts align correctly.
- Secure SSD: Rotate the fixing buckle 180 degrees to secure the SSD in place. There are four notches for different SSD lengths (2230/2242/2260/2280); choose the one appropriate for your SSD.
- Apply Thermal Pad: Peel off the protective films from both sides of the thermal silicone pad and stick it onto the SSD chip. This helps in heat dissipation.
- Close Enclosure: Slide the plastic inner frame back into the aluminum enclosure until it clicks into place, indicating it is securely closed.

Connecting to Your Device
- USB-C to USB-C Cable: Use this cable to connect the enclosure to devices with a USB-C port (e.g., modern laptops, tablets, smartphones).
- USB-A to USB-C Cable: Use this cable to connect the enclosure to devices with a standard USB-A port (e.g., older laptops, desktop computers).
Simply plug the appropriate cable into the enclosure's USB-C port and the other end into your host device. The enclosure is plug-and-play, requiring no additional drivers for most operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
Data Transfer and Performance
This enclosure features a USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 interface, supporting data transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps. It is backward compatible with USB 3.0 (5Gbps) and USB 2.0. The enclosure supports UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol), TRIM, and S.M.A.R.T protocols, which optimize read and write speeds and enhance SSD performance and lifespan.
