Setup and Installation
Before you begin, ensure you have the necessary tools: Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, and safety glasses.
Step 1: Prepare for Installation
- Turn off power at the main circuit breaker or fuse box to prevent electrical shock.
- Remove the existing fixture from the ceiling junction box, if applicable.
Step 2: Install Mounting Plate
- Attach the mounting plate to the ceiling junction box using the provided mounting screws. Ensure the plate is securely fastened.
Step 3: Wiring Connections
- Carefully connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding wires from the junction box:
- Connect the black (live) wire from the fixture to the black (live) wire from the junction box using a wire connector.
- Connect the white (neutral) wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box using a wire connector.
- Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box (or to the green ground screw on the mounting plate) using a wire connector.
- Ensure all connections are secure. Wrap electrical tape around each wire connector for added safety.
- Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box.
Step 4: Secure the Fixture
- Align the fixture canopy with the mounting plate and secure it using the provided screws or nuts.
Step 5: Install Bulb
- Screw an incandescent bulb (or compatible LED equivalent) into the socket. Do not exceed the maximum wattage of 60 watts.

Step 6: Restore Power
- Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Test the light fixture to ensure it functions correctly.
Operating Instructions
The EGLO Palmorla 1-Light Pendant operates via a standard wall switch connected to the circuit. Simply toggle the wall switch to turn the light fixture on or off.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the fixture, ensure the power is off and the fixture is cool. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish.
Bulb Replacement
