1. Safety Guidelines
Please read and understand all safety instructions before operating your BlackZon Smyter Monster Truck. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in injury or damage to the product.
- Age Recommendation: This product is recommended for users aged 14 months and up. Adult supervision is strongly advised for younger users due to the nature of remote-controlled vehicles.
- Battery Safety: Use only the provided Li-Ion battery and USB charger. Do not overcharge, short-circuit, or expose batteries to extreme temperatures. Always charge batteries in a safe, supervised area.
- Operating Environment: Operate the vehicle in open areas, away from people, pets, and obstacles. Avoid public roads, water bodies, and areas with high pedestrian traffic.
- Water Resistance: The electronics are splashproof, but the vehicle is not designed for submersion. Avoid deep puddles or wet conditions that could damage internal components.
- Moving Parts: Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from moving parts such as wheels, gears, and suspension components.
- Adult Supervision: Always ensure adult supervision, especially when children are operating the vehicle or handling batteries.

4. Operating Your BlackZon Smyter
4.1. Basic Controls
- Steering Wheel: Rotate the steering wheel on the transmitter left or right to control the vehicle's direction.
- Throttle Trigger: Pull the trigger towards you to accelerate forward. Push the trigger away from you to brake or reverse.
4.2. Speed Switch Function
The 2.4GHz transmitter includes a Speed Switch dial. This feature allows you to adjust the maximum speed of the vehicle, which is particularly useful for new users or when operating in confined spaces.
- Turning the Dial Down: Reduces the maximum speed, making the truck more manageable and easier to control.
- Turning the Dial Up: Increases the maximum speed for full performance.
4.3. Driving Tips
- Start with slow speeds to familiarize yourself with the controls.
- Practice steering and throttle control in an open, safe area.
- Avoid sudden stops or turns at high speeds to prevent rollovers.
- Monitor battery life. Performance will decrease as the battery drains.
4.4. Optional LED Light Set Installation
The BlackZon Smyter includes a bonus optional LED light set for enhanced visibility and aesthetics.
- Identify the designated mounting points on the vehicle body or chassis for the LED lights.
- Carefully attach the LED lights using the provided hardware or adhesive (if applicable).
- Connect the LED light set to the designated power port on the vehicle's electronics, if available, or follow specific instructions provided with the LED set.
5. Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your BlackZon Smyter.
- Cleaning: After each use, especially in dirty or dusty conditions, clean the vehicle. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dirt and debris from the chassis, suspension, and gears. A damp cloth can be used for the body.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect all screws, nuts, and bolts for tightness. Check the suspension components, wheels, and tires for any damage or wear.
- Lubrication: Apply a small amount of RC-specific lubricant to moving metal parts, such as universal joints and bearings, as needed. Avoid over-lubrication.
- Storage: When not in use, store the vehicle and transmitter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disconnect the battery from the vehicle and remove batteries from the transmitter for long-term storage.
- Battery Care: Do not store Li-Ion batteries fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods. Store them at a 'storage charge' level (typically around 3.8V per cell) if possible.
