2. Safety Instructions

Always adhere to the following safety guidelines to prevent injury, damage, or malfunction:

  • Ensure the charging cable and connectors are free from damage before each use. Do not use if any part is damaged.
  • Connect the charger only to a properly grounded CEE 1-phase socket that meets local electrical codes.
  • Do not immerse the control box or connectors in water. While the unit is IP67 waterproof, it is not designed for submersion.
  • Keep children and pets away from the charging area during operation.
  • Avoid touching the charging pins directly.
  • Do not attempt to open, disassemble, or modify the charger. This will void the warranty and may cause safety hazards.

4. Setup

4.1 Wall-Mounted Installation (Optional)

If you prefer a fixed charging station, use the detachable controller holder to mount the control box to a suitable wall. Ensure the mounting location is secure, protected from direct sunlight and heavy rain, and within reach of your vehicle and a CEE 1-phase power outlet.

  1. Select a sturdy wall surface capable of supporting the charger's weight.
  2. Mark the drilling points using the detachable holder as a template.
  3. Drill holes and insert appropriate wall anchors.
  4. Secure the detachable holder to the wall using screws.
  5. Slide the control box onto the mounted holder.

4.2 Portable Use

For portable use, simply place the control box on a stable, dry surface near your vehicle and the power outlet. Ensure the cable is not stretched or kinked.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Charging Procedure

  1. Ensure your vehicle is parked and turned off.
  2. Plug the CEE 1-phase power plug into a suitable wall socket. The control box LCD will illuminate.
  3. Open your vehicle's charging port cover.
  4. Insert the Type 2 vehicle connector firmly into your vehicle's charging port. Ensure it clicks into place.
  5. The charger will initiate a self-check, and then charging will begin automatically with the last set current. The green indicator light will flash.
  6. To stop charging, first disconnect the Type 2 connector from the vehicle, then unplug the CEE power plug from the wall socket.

5.2 Adjusting Current

Before connecting the Type 2 connector to your vehicle, you can adjust the charging current:

  1. With the CEE plug connected to the wall socket but the Type 2 connector not yet connected to the vehicle, press the 'CURRENT' button on the control box.
  2. Cycle through the available current options: 10A, 16A, 20A, 24A, 32A.
  3. Select the desired current based on your vehicle's requirements and your electrical circuit's capacity.
  4. Once the current is set, connect the Type 2 connector to your vehicle to begin charging.

5.3 Setting Delayed Start

To schedule charging for a later time:

  1. With the CEE plug connected to the wall socket but the Type 2 connector not yet connected to the vehicle, press the 'DELAY' button on the control box.
  2. Each press will increase the delay time in hourly increments (e.g., 1 hour, 2 hours, up to 12 hours).
  3. Once the desired delay is set, connect the Type 2 connector to your vehicle. The charger will display the countdown and begin charging after the set delay.

5.4 Indicator Lights

  • Green Light On: Fully charged.
  • Green Light Flashing: Charging in progress.
  • Red Light On: Standby mode.
