3. Setup and Inflation

3.1 Initial Preparation

1. Unpack the air mattress and accessories from the carry bag.
2. Spread out the air mattress in the desired location (e.g., truck bed, living room).
3. For best results, inflate the mattress in a warm environment like a living room to allow the material to 'stretch' and smooth out any wrinkles. Leave it inflated overnight before its first use to ensure optimal air retention.

3.2 Inflation Steps

1. Connect the air pump plug to a 12V power source, such as a cigarette lighter adapter in your vehicle.
2. Install the large air nozzle at the outlet of the air pump.
3. Open the valve on the air mattress and insert the large air nozzle tightly into the inflation port. Turn on the air pump to begin inflation.
4. Inflate until the mattress feels firm and no longer inflates further. Then, stop the pump and quickly close the inner valve plug.
5. Replace the large air nozzle with the medium-sized air nozzle on the air pump. Insert this nozzle tightly into the outer valve plug of the inflation port to continue inflating until it reaches the desired softness suitable for sleeping.
6. Close the outer valve plug securely. The side air chambers (if applicable) are inflated using the same method.
7. For the small pillows, use the small air nozzle to inflate them to your preferred firmness.

4.2 Deflation and Storage

1. Open the two-layer valve plug on the mattress.
2. Install the large air nozzle at the deflate outlet of the air pump.
3. Insert the air pump tightly into the valve and turn on the pump to deflate the mattress until it cannot be pumped further.
4. Change to the small air nozzle and pump the air out of the small pillows.
5. Tighten the two layers of the mattress, then fold it neatly and store it in the provided storage bag.
