Setup

1. Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge the headset. The battery capacity is 50 mAh, and a full charge takes approximately 50 minutes.

  • Connect the charging cable to the charging port on the headset (refer to Figure 1).
  • Connect the other end of the charging cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
  • The indicator light will show charging status (refer to product packaging or quick start guide for specific light behavior).
  • Once fully charged, disconnect the headset from the power source.

2. Pairing with a Device

The HOCO E64 uses Bluetooth 5.3 for a stable connection.

  • Ensure the headset is charged and turned off.
  • Press and hold the multi-function button on the headset until the indicator light flashes rapidly (usually blue and red alternately), indicating it is in pairing mode.
  • On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
  • Search for available devices and select "HOCO E64" from the list.
  • Once connected, the indicator light on the headset will typically flash slowly or turn off.
  • If prompted for a password, enter "0000" (four zeros).

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a power-on prompt or see the indicator light.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a power-off prompt or see the indicator light turn off.

Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Single-tap the multi-function button.
  • Next Track: Double-tap the multi-function button.
  • Previous Track: Triple-tap the multi-function button.

Call Management

  • Answer/End Call: Single-tap the multi-function button during an incoming call or active call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 2 seconds during an incoming call.
  • Redial Last Number: Double-tap the multi-function button when not on a call.

Language Switch

To switch between Chinese and English voice prompts:

  • When the headset is not paired with any device, double-click the multi-function button to cycle through available languages.

Maintenance

  • Clean the headset regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Store the headset in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the headset to strong impacts.
  • Do not expose the charging port to dust or debris.

Troubleshooting
