3.2 Preparation
- Ensure your door thickness is between 1-3/8" and 1-3/4".
- Verify the backset (distance from door edge to center of bore hole) is either 2-3/8" or 2-3/4".
- Confirm the cross-bore hole diameter is 2-1/8" and the edge bore hole diameter is 1".
3.3 Step-by-Step Installation
- Install the Latch: Insert the deadbolt latch into the door edge. Ensure the latch bolt is facing the correct direction (beveled edge towards the door frame). Secure with screws.
- Install the Exterior Assembly: Place the exterior touchscreen assembly onto the door, ensuring the cable passes through the cross-bore hole and the deadbolt tailpiece passes through the latch hub.
- Install the Mounting Plate: Position the interior mounting plate over the exterior assembly's cable and tailpiece. Secure it to the exterior assembly with the provided screws.
- Install the Interior Assembly: Connect the cable from the exterior assembly to the interior assembly. Attach the interior assembly to the mounting plate, ensuring the turn piece engages with the deadbolt tailpiece. Secure with screws.

6.2 Cleaning Instructions
To maintain the finish and functionality of your lock:
- Wipe the touchscreen and lock body with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the finish and electronic components.
- Do not spray water directly into the lock.
