2. Install the Latch and Strike
A. Chiseled Door Edge: Check if the door edge is chiseled.
- If YES (chiseled): Use latch "A". If the latch bolt is not extended, extend it as shown.
- If NO (not chiseled): Use latch "B" (not included). If the latch bolt is not extended, extend it as shown.
B. Latch Placement: Hold the latch in front of the door hole, with the latch face flush against the door edge.
C. Centered Latch Holes: Check if the latch holes are centered in the door hole.
- If YES: No adjustment is required. Proceed to the next step.
- If NO: Rotate the latch face as shown to extend the latch.
D. Latch Selection Confirmation: Confirm which latch (A or B) you are installing.

3. Install the Exterior Keypad
A. Door Hole Diameter Check: Confirm the diameter of the hole in the door.
- If the diameter is 2-1/8" (54 mm): Adapter ring "C" is required. Install "C" on "E".
- If the diameter is 1-1/2" (38 mm): Adapter ring "C" is not needed. Discard "C".
B. Screws: Locate screws (Q) for step 3C and keep them within reach.
C. Installation: Install the exterior keypad and mounting plate.
- Ensure the cable goes underneath the latch.
- Keep the assembly parallel to the edge of the door.
- Support the exterior assembly during mounting plate installation.
- Tighten screws (Q) evenly (2x).
