5. Troubleshooting and FAQs

  • Q: Will this system still function during a power outage?

A: No, the Slevoo F3 1000 GPD Reverse Osmosis System is a powered unit and requires a 120V electrical outlet to operate. It will not function during a power outage.

  • Q: Does this system require a separate outlet plug from the garbage disposal?

A: Yes, please ensure a separate electrical outlet is available for the reverse osmosis water filtration system. Do not share the power outlet with your garbage disposal or dishwasher, as the unit may not function correctly if the wall switch is turned off.

  • Q: Is it possible to connect this unit to an ice maker or refrigerator? Is the pressure sufficient?

A: Yes, you can connect the system to your refrigerator or ice maker. However, if your appliance has specific water pressure requirements, we recommend purchasing a PMT pressure tank to ensure adequate flow.

  • Q: Is the bypass for connecting to the fridge included?

A: Yes, the package you received contains the necessary bypass and accessory kit.

  • Q: Do I have to use the equipped smart faucet, or can I use my own faucet?

A: You may use your own RO faucet. However, if you do not use the equipped smart faucet, the filter life indicator function on the faucet will not be active. You can still check the filter lifetime status indicators on the front panel of the main system.
