Maintenance
1. Solar Charging Optimization
For optimal performance, ensure the solar panel receives direct sunlight for several hours each day. This will keep the camera's built-in battery charged and minimize the need for manual recharging. The camera is designed to auto-power on when sufficient charge is accumulated after being powered off.
2. Weather Resistance
The FOAOOD Solar Security Camera has an IP65 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets. It is designed to withstand various outdoor weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C.

Periodically clean the camera lens and solar panel surface with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality and efficient solar charging. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Possible Solution |
|---|---|
| Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi | Ensure your Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz. Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location. Restart your router and the camera. Re-pair the camera with the app. |
| Battery not charging or draining quickly | Ensure the solar panel is in direct sunlight and free from obstructions. Clean the solar panel surface. Check the solar panel cable connection to the camera. |
| False motion detection alerts | Adjust the motion detection sensitivity settings in the CloudPlus app. Ensure the detection zone is configured correctly to avoid triggering by irrelevant movements (e.g., tree branches). |
| Poor image quality at night | Ensure the camera lens is clean. Check if the night vision mode is set correctly (color or infrared). Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the camera's view. |
| Two-way audio not working | Check microphone and speaker settings in the app. Ensure your phone's volume is up. Check camera's internet connection stability. |
