4. Setup

1. Unpack the Projector: Carefully remove the projector and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Placement: Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the device. The projector supports desktop placement, stand support, and ceiling mount projection.
3. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the projector's power input and then to a power outlet.
4. Power On: Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn on the device. The projector will display the main interface.

5.1. Connectivity

The FunFlix projector offers multiple ways to connect your devices:

• HDMI Ports (HDMI1, HDMI2): Connect devices like laptops, TV sticks, gaming consoles (e.g., PS5), or DVD players using an HDMI cable. Select the corresponding HDMI input from the projector's main menu.
• USB Ports: Insert a USB disk to play movies, music, or view photos and office documents (Excel, Word, PPT, PDF).
• AV Port: Use the provided AV cable to connect older devices with AV output.
• 3.5mm Audio Jack: Connect external speakers or headphones for enhanced audio.

5.2. Wireless Connection (Screen Mirroring)

The projector supports wireless screen mirroring for iOS, Android, and Windows devices via 2.4G and 5G WiFi. Note that due to copyright restrictions, some streaming services like Netflix or Prime Video may not support screen mirroring directly from your device. For these services, it is recommended to use an external streaming stick (e.g., Fire TV Stick, Roku) connected via HDMI.

• Navigate to the 'iOS Cast' or 'Miracast' option on the projector's main interface.
• Ensure your mobile device and the projector are connected to the same WiFi network.
• On your mobile device, enable screen mirroring/casting and select the projector from the list of available devices.

5.3. Image Adjustment (Keystone & Zoom)

To achieve a perfectly rectangular image, use the keystone correction and zoom functions:

• Focus: Adjust the focus ring on the projector lens until the image is clear.
• 4D/4P Keystone Correction: Access the 'Keystone Advanced' or '4-Point Keystone' setting in the projector's menu. This allows you to adjust each corner of the image independently to correct trapezoidal distortion (up to ±50 degrees horizontally and vertically).
• Zoom Function: Use the 'Digital Zoom' option in the menu to adjust the screen size without moving the projector, typically between 50%-100%.
