Safety Guidelines

  • Environmental Conditions: Fly in open areas, away from people, animals, buildings, and obstacles. Avoid flying in strong winds, rain, or snow.

  • Battery Safety: Use only original batteries and chargers. Do not overcharge or puncture batteries. Discontinue use if batteries are damaged or swollen.

Setup

1. Unfolding the Drone

Gently unfold the drone's arms until they lock into place. Ensure all four arms are fully extended and stable before flight.

2. Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Insert a fully charged modular battery into the battery compartment at the rear of the drone until it clicks into place.
  2. To charge the batteries, connect the USB charging cable to the battery and then to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. Charging typically takes 60-90 minutes.
  4. A full charge provides approximately 10-15 minutes of flight time per battery. The product includes two batteries for extended flight.

3. Remote Control Setup

  1. Install 3x AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control's battery compartment.
  2. Turn on the remote control.
  3. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
  4. Turn on the drone. The drone's indicator lights will flash.
  5. To pair, push the left joystick up then down. The drone lights will become solid, indicating successful pairing.

4. App Installation and Connection (FPV & Camera Control)

  1. Download the "X-IMVNLEI" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS/Android).
  2. Turn on the drone and the remote control.
  3. On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named "X-IMVNLEI-XXXXXX").
  4. Open the "X-IMVNLEI" app. You should see the live FPV feed from the drone's camera.

Operating Instructions

1. Pre-Flight Checks

  • Ensure drone and remote control batteries are fully charged.
  • Check that propellers are securely attached and undamaged.
  • Confirm drone and remote control are paired.
  • Verify the drone is placed on a flat, level surface for calibration.

2. Take-off and Landing

  • One-Key Take-off: Press the one-key take-off button on the remote control. The drone will automatically ascend to a stable hovering height.
  • Manual Take-off: Push both joysticks down and outwards simultaneously to start the motors. Then, slowly push the left joystick up to ascend.
  • One-Key Landing: Press the one-key landing button. The drone will automatically descend and land gently.
  • Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left joystick down to descend. Once landed, push both joysticks down and inwards to stop the motors.

3. Basic Flight Controls

  • Left Joystick (Throttle/Yaw):
    • Up/Down: Ascend/Descend
    • Left/Right: Rotate Left/Right (Yaw)
  • Right Joystick (Forward/Backward/Left/Right):
    • Up/Down: Fly Forward/Backward
    • Left/Right: Fly Left/Right (Sideways)

4. Intelligent Flight Modes and Features

  • Altitude Hold: The drone maintains a stable altitude, making it easier to control and capture steady photos/videos. This is enabled by the optical flow positioning sensor.
  • 3D Flip: Press the 3D flip button and move the right joystick in the desired direction to perform an aerial flip.
  • Trajectory Flight: Draw a flight path on your smartphone screen within the app, and the drone will automatically follow the designated route.
  • Gesture Control: Perform specific hand gestures in front of the drone's camera to trigger photo or video recording. (Refer to app instructions for specific gestures).

  • Optical Flow Positioning: The bottom camera assists in stable hovering and precise indoor/outdoor flight by detecting ground patterns.

5. Camera Operation (Photo/Video)

  • Taking Photos: Press the photo button on the remote control or tap the camera icon in the app.
  • Recording Videos: Press the video button on the remote control or tap the video icon in the app to start/stop recording.
  • Camera Angle Adjustment: The 720P FPV camera can be manually adjusted from 0° to 90° before flight to capture different perspectives.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone body and camera lenses. Avoid using liquids or solvents.
  • Propeller Replacement: If propellers are damaged or bent, replace them with spare ones provided. Ensure correct propeller (A or B) is installed on the corresponding motor.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not store fully charged or completely depleted batteries for long periods. Charge them to about 50% for long-term storage.
  • Storage: Fold the drone arms and store it in its original handbag or a protective case when not in use. Keep it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
