Riding Modes:
The JANSNO X50 offers three distinct riding modes to suit your preference and terrain:

Figure 6: Visual representation of the three riding modes.
- Human Riding Mode:
Turn off the power or set the gear to 0. This mode allows you to ride the bike purely with pedal power, similar to a traditional bicycle.
- Start The Electric Mode:
Turn on the power supply and twist the throttle (1-5 files) for pure electric riding without pedaling. This mode provides full motor power.
- Intelligent Power-assisted Mode (Pedelec):
Turn on the power and select your desired assist level (1-5). The motor will provide assistance as you pedal, making riding easier, especially on inclines or for longer distances. The level of assistance can be adjusted via the LCD display.
Gear Shifting:
Utilize the Shi-Mano 7-speed gear system for optimal pedaling efficiency. Shift gears smoothly by using the trigger shifter on the handlebars. Downshift for climbing hills and upshift for higher speeds on flat terrain.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your JANSNO X50 Electric Bike.
- Battery Care:
- Charge the battery fully before the first use and after every ride.
- Do not overcharge or completely drain the battery.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use, and charge it periodically if stored for long periods.
- Use only the charger provided with your bike. Charging time is approximately 6 hours.
- Tires:
- Check tire pressure before each ride. Maintain recommended PSI for optimal performance and safety.
- Inspect tires for wear, cuts, or punctures regularly.
- Brakes:
- Regularly check brake pads for wear and replace them when necessary.
- Ensure brake levers are firm and responsive. Adjust cable tension if needed.
- Chain and Drivetrain:
- Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent rust.
- Inspect gears and derailleur for proper alignment and function.
- General Cleaning: Clean the bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical components.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all nuts, bolts, and quick releases to ensure they are tight and secure.
