Setup

Follow these steps to properly install your Addtam 5-Outlet Extender Surge Protector:

  1. Identify a suitable wall outlet: The extender is designed for standard duplex wall outlets.
  2. Prepare the extender: The plastic prong on the back provides additional stability. For standard and decor outlets, keep the prong. For USB receptacles and GFCI outlets, the plastic prong needs to be carefully cut off before use to ensure a flush fit.
  3. Plug in the extender: Align the prongs of the extender with the wall outlet and push firmly until it is securely seated.
  4. Secure with the mounting screw (optional but recommended): If your wall outlet has a central screw hole, use the provided screw to fasten the extender to the wall plate. This enhances stability and prevents accidental dislodging when unplugging devices.
