Setup and Initial Configuration
Before using your Casio LF-20W-1ACF watch, it is recommended to set the current time, date, and your home city. The watch comes with a pre-installed lithium metal battery.
- Time and Date Setting:
Press and hold the ADJUST button (top left) until the seconds begin to flash. This indicates you are in the setting mode. Use the MODE button (bottom left) to cycle through the settings: seconds, hour, minute, year, month, day. Use the LIGHT button (top right) and SEARCH button (bottom right) to increase or decrease the flashing value. Once all settings are correct, press the ADJUST button again to exit the setting mode.
- Home City Selection:
In the Timekeeping Mode, press the SEARCH button to display the Home City setting. Use the LIGHT and SEARCH buttons to select your desired home city code. This setting is crucial for accurate World Time functionality.
- Daylight Saving Time (DST):
While in the Timekeeping Mode, press the ADJUST button to toggle DST on or off for your home city. The "DST" indicator will appear on the display when activated.

Operating Modes and Functions
Your Casio LF-20W-1ACF watch offers several modes accessible via the MODE button (bottom left).
- Timekeeping Mode:
This is the default mode, displaying the current time, day of the week, and date. The analog-style graphic also provides a visual representation of the time.
- World Time Mode:
Press the MODE button once from Timekeeping Mode to enter World Time. You can view the current time in 31 different time zones (48 cities). Use the SEARCH button to cycle through the cities. Press and hold ADJUST to swap your Home City time with the World Time City.
- Stopwatch Mode:
From World Time Mode, press MODE again to enter Stopwatch Mode. The stopwatch measures elapsed time in 1/100-second increments. Press SEARCH to start/stop, and ADJUST to reset.
- Alarm Mode:
Press MODE from Stopwatch Mode to enter Alarm Mode. The watch features five independent daily alarms. Use SEARCH to select an alarm (AL1 to AL5) or the Hourly Time Signal (SIG). Press ADJUST to turn an alarm on/off. To set an alarm time, hold ADJUST until the hour flashes, then use LIGHT and SEARCH to set the time.
- LED Illumination:
Press the LIGHT button (top right) in any mode to illuminate the display for improved visibility in low-light conditions.

Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning:
Wipe the watch case and band with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild neutral detergent, then wipe dry. Avoid using volatile agents like thinner or benzine, as they may damage the resin components.
