6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your unit.

6.1. Air Filter Cleaning

Clean the air filter every two weeks, or more frequently if the unit is used often or in dusty environments.

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Locate and remove the air filter from its housing (usually on the back or side).
  3. Wash the filter under running water (warm, not hot) or use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust.
  4. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.

6.2. Water Drainage

The unit will accumulate condensed water during operation. It has an auto-evaporation system, but in high humidity, the internal tank may fill. The unit will stop operating and display an error code when full.

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Place a shallow pan or tray under the drain port (usually at the bottom rear).
  3. Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
  4. Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
  5. For continuous drainage, attach the provided drain hose to the drain port and direct it to a suitable drain.

6.3. Storage

If storing the unit for an extended period:

  • Drain all accumulated water.
  • Clean the air filter.
  • Run the unit in Fan mode for a few hours to dry the internal components.
  • Unplug the unit and coil the power cord.
  • Store the unit in a dry, cool place, preferably covered to protect from dust.
