1. Introduction and Overview

The HOLOSUN HE515GM-GR is an ultra-durable 20mm micro sight engineered for demanding rifle and carbine applications. It features a robust 7075 aluminum construction, clear removable/rotating lens caps, and a Quick Detach (QD) lower 1/3 co-witness (1.63") mount. This sight boasts an IP68 certified waterproof and dustproof rating, ensuring reliable performance in various environmental conditions.

3. Setup

3.1 Mounting the Sight

The HE515GM-GR comes with a Quick Detach (QD) lower 1/3 co-witness mount. To attach the sight to your rifle's Picatinny rail:

1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and safe.
2. Loosen the QD lever on the mount.
3. Position the sight on the desired section of your Picatinny rail.
4. Close the QD lever firmly until it locks into place. Ensure the sight is securely attached and does not wobble.

3.2 Battery Installation

The HE515GM-GR is powered by a single CR2032 battery, which provides up to 50,000 hours of operation. The battery compartment is designed for tool-less replacement.

1. Locate the battery cap on the side of the sight.
2. Unscrew the battery cap counter-clockwise.
3. Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing outwards.
4. Replace the battery cap and screw it clockwise until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Multi-Reticle System (MRS)

The HE515GM-GR features Holosun's Multi-Reticle System, allowing you to choose between different reticle patterns to suit your preference and shooting scenario.

The available reticle options are:

• 2 MOA Dot & 65 MOA Circle: This combination provides a fast sight picture for shorter distances. The large circle aids in quick target acquisition and acts as a hold-over reference, guiding your eye to the central 2 MOA dot.
• 2 MOA Dot Only: The large 65 MOA circle can be deactivated, leaving only the 2 MOA dot for an uncluttered sight picture and increased precision, especially at longer ranges.

4.2 Brightness Settings

The sight offers 12 reticle intensity settings, including 10 for daylight conditions and 2 for night vision compatibility. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the top of the sight to adjust the brightness level.

4.3 Shake Awake Technology

Shake Awake Technology is a standard feature that extends battery life by deactivating the optic's LED when not in use. A highly sensitive motion sensor detects movement, instantly reactivating the LED.

Shake Awake offers settings from 10 minutes to 12 hours for automatic deactivation, or it can be deactivated altogether if preferred. The slightest touch or movement of the optic will instantly reactivate the LED, ensuring your Holosun sight is ready when needed.

4.4 Super LED Technology

Holosun Super LED technology provides versatile reticle intensity settings from night vision-compatible to daylight bright. Our Super Green LED is specifically designed to match the wavelength of light that the human eye is most reactive to, enhancing visibility and clarity.

4.5 Multilayer Reflective Glass

Holosun optical sights and magnifiers utilize optical-quality glass lenses with multilayer coatings. These coatings facilitate maximum light transmission and wear resistance, while reducing glare and minimizing power requirements. 5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and clarity, regularly clean the lenses and exterior of your sight. Use the provided lens cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution designed for optics can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.

• Gently wipe the lenses to remove dust and debris.
• Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the lens coatings.
• Clean the exterior housing with a damp cloth as needed.

5.2 Waterproof and Dustproof Rating

The HE515GM-GR is IP68 certified, meaning it is fully protected from dust ingress and can withstand immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. While designed to be highly durable, avoid unnecessary prolonged submersion or exposure to extreme conditions to ensure longevity.
