8. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No temperature reading on display console (--.-)
  • Batteries are dead or incorrectly installed.
  • Floating sensor is out of range.
  • Interference from other electronic devices.
  • Floating sensor not properly sealed.
  • Replace batteries in both units, ensuring correct polarity.
  • Move display console closer to the floating sensor.
  • Relocate units away from potential interference sources.
  • Check floating sensor lids and gaskets for proper seal.
Inaccurate temperature readings
  • Sensor is not fully submerged.
  • Sensor is too close to a heat source/cold source.
  • Ensure floating sensor is fully immersed in the water.
  • Reposition the sensor away from direct sunlight or heating/cooling vents.
Short battery life
  • Low-quality batteries used.
  • Frequent temperature changes or alarm activations.
  • Weak signal due to distance or obstacles.
  • Use high-quality alkaline batteries.
  • This is normal for active usage.
