Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight counter-clockwise.
2. Insert the NL2150i 5000mAh battery or NL2150 HPi rechargeable battery with the positive (+) terminal facing towards the head of the flashlight. If using a 18650 battery, place it inside the provided battery magazine before inserting.
3. Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened. Ensure a tight seal to maintain water resistance.

2. Charging the Battery

The Nitecore P20iX features a built-in USB-C charging port for convenient recharging of the included 21700 i-Series batteries.

1. Locate the USB-C charging port cover near the head of the flashlight.
2. Open the rubber cover to expose the USB-C port.
3. Connect one end of the provided USB-C charging cable to the flashlight's port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., USB adapter, computer, power bank).
4. The power indicator light will illuminate to show charging status. Refer to the indicator guide in the operating section for details.
5. Once charging is complete, disconnect the cable and securely close the rubber cover to maintain water and dust resistance.

3. Attaching Accessories

• Lanyard: Thread the lanyard through the designated hole on the tail cap for secure carrying.
• Clip: The removable clip can be attached to the flashlight body for easy attachment to pockets or gear.
• Holster (NTH20): Insert the flashlight into the NTH20 holster for secure storage and quick access.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Operation

• Momentary Illumination: Half-press and hold the Tactical Tail Switch (Power Button) for momentary on. Release to turn off.
• Constant On/Off: Fully press the Tactical Tail Switch until a click is heard to turn the flashlight on. Press again to turn it off.

2. Brightness Levels and Modes

The P20iX offers multiple brightness levels and a special Strobe mode. The flashlight utilizes four CREE XP-L2 V6 LEDs for powerful illumination.

• Changing Brightness: With the flashlight on, short press the MODE button (located on the tail cap, next to the power button) to cycle through brightness levels (e.g., Ultra-low, Low, Mid, High, Turbo).
• Accessing Strobe Mode:
  • From any state (on or off), press and hold the MODE button to instantly activate Strobe mode.
  • Release the MODE button to exit Strobe mode.

3. Power Indicator

The power indicator light, typically located near the charging port or on the tail cap, provides information about the battery status:

• Solid Green: Battery level is above 50%.
• Flashing Green: Battery level is below 50%.
• Solid Red: Battery level is below 10%, indicating a need for recharging.
• Flashing Red (during charging): Charging in progress.
• Solid Green (during charging): Charging complete.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth to avoid scratches.
• Lubrication: Apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings periodically to maintain water resistance and smooth operation of the tail cap threads. Replace worn O-rings with the spare provided.
• Battery Care:
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Recharge batteries regularly, even if not fully depleted, to prolong their lifespan.
  • If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage and damage.
• Avoid Impact: While durable, avoid dropping the flashlight or subjecting it to severe impacts, which can damage internal components.
