Setup

Refilling the Torch

The Ronson Multi-Purpose Torch is refillable with Ronson Butane. Always ensure the torch is cool and the flame is extinguished before refilling.

1. Turn the flame adjustment knob to the "OFF" position.
2. Hold the torch upside down.
3. Insert the nozzle of the Ronson Butane canister directly into the refill valve located at the bottom of the torch.
4. Press down firmly for approximately 5-10 seconds. You may hear a hissing sound as the butane fills the tank.
5. Remove the canister and wait a few moments for the gas to stabilize before attempting to ignite the torch.

Operating Instructions

Ignition

1. Ensure the torch is adequately filled with butane.
2. Turn the flame adjustment knob slightly counter-clockwise from the "OFF" position to allow gas flow.
3. Press the ignition button firmly. A click should be heard, and the flame should ignite instantly.
4. If the torch does not ignite, release the button, wait a few seconds, and try again. Ensure there is sufficient butane.

Flame Adjustment

The torch features a height-adjustable, high-precision flame.

• Rotate the flame adjustment knob (located near the nozzle) clockwise to decrease the flame size.
• Rotate the flame adjustment knob counter-clockwise to increase the flame size.
• Always adjust the flame to the desired intensity for your specific task.

Continuous Use

For hands-free operation, the torch is equipped with a continuous use button.

1. Ignite the torch as described above.
2. While the ignition button is pressed, slide the continuous use lock switch (if present, typically a small lever near the ignition) to engage the continuous flame.
3. To disengage, slide the lock switch back to its original position. The flame will extinguish when the ignition button is released.

Using Attachments
